I loved ME series, but damn some of the combat and especially the animations looked really rough. Hopefully they still have time to do some tweaking

I was worried it was going to end up like Dragon Age: Inquisition, but so far it looks real close to the previous Mass Effect games.
They made the planets sound exciting
Am I the only one that thought Dragon Age Inquisition was great? Sure it had some rough edges with certain quests being nauseating repetitive but majority of those could be completely avoided..
Errrr no you could not you were forced to do them to get "power" to unlock the story missions and it was not some it was like 90%...every area was open camps, close rifts, collect shards, collect bottles of thedas wine, claim landmarks, collect herbs, claim keeps, kill dragons. The hinterlands was the only area where effort was put as far as side quests. The story saved it though but it was the first bioware game I played once and never touched again.
@zeeshanhaider: I'm well aware of most games running and showcased on pc but this did not look that great. You may say that's the fault of Bioware but DA:I looked great for 2014 and ME4 budget is probably huge so i expect good visuals. Visuals sell and Bioware/EA knows that.
And that is the very reason I believe they will never show the lesser version. It's not looking great because that's just how it looks. I think you are overstating the graphics of DA:I.
I don't. Bought it day one, played it close to max settings and it looks great especially for an open world game.

Its not that bad, sure there are a lot of filler quests and no proper ending, but gameplay is actually quite satisfying in my opinion.
The games looks good except for the facial animation which need some work but did anyone see the new alien race at 1:15?
Overall it looks good. As some others have said some of the animation is off. Day one buy for me so far.
FF15 animations are so much better. How is it that even Japanese devs are doing a better job than Bioware... They're like Bethesda, wooden animations from generation to generation.
Day 1 ultra CE for me...awwww yeahhhh
This is the one game I would also buy the Ultimate Deluxe Legacy ultra edition.

10 years to make FFXV lol
5 years for ME4 isn't short either. Japanese devs doing better animations than the biggest western developers? That's nasty.

Yet MEA will do better everything else.
I want to replay ME 1-3 before this comes out, but holy crap at my backlog.. I have too many games yet to play

Of course. Not like i'm trying to say that FF15 is better. But i want mah games to be perfect so nitpicking is not something i can get over.

... No they didn't.... You quite literally could skip half the zone.. In fact if you spent too much time in one area, you could completely skip another area... If you did 90% of them you were vastly over in power for the actual story.. I know, a few playthroughs I literally skipped a zone or two by barely touching them.. Especially the quests that are the collecter quests.. You didn't even need to kill any of the dragons aside from one in the game to begin with, they were all optional except for the one.

I hope its a figure and a really detailed one. These days, for me, that's what I prefer. The steel cases and other swag is alright, but nothing beats the figures from game ssuch as Uncharted, Gears, Halo, God of War and Dues Ex to name a few.

Did we play the same game? You were forced to play the side missions in order to acquire power to unlock the main story missions.Whether you liked it or not you were forced, I found it very annoying you want to progress the story and your are told "you need 30 power to unlock this story mission" so you have to do these unspeakable tedious side missions. There was no way to avoid this, really stupid design decision in my opinion and was only there to artificially make the game longer.

I like the way all this sounds minus... Destiny inspiration? WTH, I think mah hype meter just took a bit of a hit. lol :P

.... You didn't need to completely the majority of them was my point........... If you completed say for instance the first area that opened up, you could basically skip the next area outside of doing the story mission..

And what of those players who didn't want to play Bioware's stupid side missions at all? I just wanted to play the main story ( which was actually enjoyable) but was forced to do the side missions..Dear God at one point I needed like 30 points when I had like 3... It was a terrible design decision, I'm sure many people gave up on the game because of this. If you are going to force people to even partially do activities at least make them enjoyable. I hope ME:A doesn't repeat this idiocy.
