It barely fits on one DVD9 - Microsoft has the better compression techniques AND a faster drive for streaming said compressed data. If we were to expand that data enough and spam it all over the Bluray disk in order to achieve reasonable load times then it simply wouldn't fit! *Gasp*. We could try to get around this by loading all of the data onto the PS3's HDD but that would only screw over the 20gig owners. Mass Effect + Oblivion + OS = Full drive. Ouch. Rosencrantz

Uh...What? It worked for Oblivion just fine but it's impossible for Mass Effect? And I will remind you that if MS wants to move into the HD era of gaming then they can't rely on compression which actually means inferior quality.

The 360's GPU is completely superior to the PS3's without mentioning that the 360 CPU is far better for gaming. Also, they want to add DL content for ME and we all know the PS3 can't even handle horse armour.

NOw you are just making asinine claims to play the troll.

Here is a quote from a dev that works for MS:

"Yeah, the 360 is just better at games than the PS3. I've worked with both and the company that puts money in my pocket DEFINATELY has the better console. I mean games like ME for example wouldn't work on a Sony machine because of a lack of horses under the hood."

That is all the proof you need.

You're RIGHT! All the proof I needed that the 360 is superior is a quote from an MS employee. And that quote shouldn't contain factual evidence...just things like "the company that puts money in my pocket DEFINITELY has the better console."

Dude, you should be ashamed for making such ridiculous posts. Deeply, deeply ashamed.

Expert dissection of a fanboy's posts. I applaud you! :::::standing ovation:::::

That is all the proof you need. The 360 has clearly stepped over the PS3 and is now into the next, next, next next-gen. The Wii has stepped sideways around the PS3 and into the Twilight Zone.

You all know i'm right!

Solid-CELL

IF the Xbox360 is so much stronger and better than the Ps3 then why is MS releasing the Elite?

did you also forget about the new news that MS is negotiating whether or not to install a Blu-Ray drive AND motion sensing in future Xbox360 upgrades...

Do you even know what the Elite is? The Elite changes NOTHING about the hardware configuration of the Xbox 360; it simply expands the hard drive and adds HDMI. MS didn't change anything about the CPU, GPU or RAM, so your comment has nothing to do with the discussion on which system is more powerful hardware-wise.

i know f-ing know that the CPU and GPU are unchanged in the elite. but your saying that HDMI, which gives better, crisper, clearer, and brighter images on a TV screen, which in the end gives all games a small upgrade in graphics is not an edge for a console to be considered a hardware edge/upgrade?

its not my past comment thats the problem here, you just didnt understand where i was coming from. and btw, HDMI IS a HARDWARE upgrade.

Component cables only support up to 720p  and HDMI support up to 1080P.
