mass effect will flop and heres why

maybe the oblivion freaks(not saying that in a bad way) will pick this game up. but all these hardcore 360 fans who primarly play shooters will get this game and think its crap then take it back or sell it for another game. they are just hyping it now cause its one of the few exclusives that look good. this game is not a shooter. its a rpg wanna be shooter that is going to flop in many lemmings eyes because most of themare huge FPS fans(me being one of them)this game will not be game of the year im not even sure it will be nominated. personally i think gta4 will get that but thats my opinion. unreal tournament 2007 will sell better then mass effect. every new shooter coming out for the 360 might even sell better then mass effect. looking at my crystal ball now

if it was on the ps3 first off i wouldnt buy it. but the fan base of the playstation brand in general like those type of games over shooters. just like how 360 community prefers shooters over other games. thats how things are. personally im all about shooters and i own a ps3. the real shooters are finally hittin the playstation brand which is why i bought one.

It seems to me that you just hate RPGs. Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata will get AA. Blue Dragon probably 8.5. Lost Odyssey looks sweet too.

I think the premise of Mass Effect is very interesting and alot better than KOTOR(I hate when games blend turn based and action RPGS). I am just worried that with out a large disc storage medium this game will not be nearly as epic as it promises to be. DVD9s can only go so far.Truth-slayer

Put your fears to rest. Bioware has yet to have a QA tester of Mass Effect to visit every location in one play-through. Sounds pretty damn big.

I can see why a cow would think Mass Effect will flop. They have first hand experience with a company with a long track record of dominance suddenly driving itself to the precipice oblivion. It could happen, I suppose.

However, Mass Effect will be a commercial success as seen by the huge interest and prior success of KOTOR, Oblivion etc, and an artistic one, as seen by basically every game they ever made.

I love it when ps3 fanboys critisizes and bashes a 360 game, and than expects people to take his/her comments seriously.

Square Enix? The slerge of Final Fantasy crap they put out? Yea the main series is great, and the tactics, some of these games are over-rated aswell, Japaense grind fest with absolutely no sense of balance ... 2-shoting final bosses, how fun :roll:.
