Nah, Gordon would pull the plasma grenade with the gravity gunand launch it back to the MC, thus he will be stuck. Not only that, Freeman can use his speed to outrun the needlers. :D

In an even battleground, it would be tough for gordon. He would probably lose.

However, you gotta think. Gordon Freeman is an MIS graduate that had his first experiance with guns in half life 1. Masta chief is a military man, with years of training and a high tech suit. Master cheif just shows up and kills things, he's better than anything around. Gordon is just the right man in the wrong place, gets what needs to be done, and then gets picked up by the G-man until he's needed again. Masta cheif just kills the aliens that show up in front of him.

John Freeman, who is gordon freeman's brother, is better than all of them.
