Gordon Freeman doesnt even speak = he sucks....MC FTWmingo123
Master Chief can't even leave the house without full body padding and a safety helmet. A more even bout would be Master Chief vs Smurfette :)

You know whats really cheesy, a main character who is suppose to be one of the greatest scientist ever who doesn't speak one word.

Nothing in the game says that Gordon Freeman is the greatest scientist ever. I bet you don't even know the story behind half life! Halo is primitive, little children play it and understand all of it! Half-Life requires more thinking due to its puzzles. Halo is the type of game I like to call "Run and Gun" no strategy involved. I mean you got your shield 6 grenades, dual wielded SMGs and a freaking rocket launcher. The cheesy one is Halo, I mean seriously MC is the only one of his kind, he has a freaking shield that keeps you alive even when there are dropships firing their "Lazarz!" at you. Halo is the easiest game I have ever played. Half life on the other hand doesnt require Gordon to talk, you always know what hes gonna do next, because you are Gordon Freeman.

Gordon Freeman visits Xen an alien planet, kills hordes of aliens, beats the military and escapes a secret science facility without even breaking a sweat. nuff' said.

Gravity gun rules! But it's range is nowhere near that of the Sniper rifle. In the hands of a bred killing machine.......MC takes out Freeman before old Gordon knows he's there.

Gordon Freeman is better as a character, for two reasons. One, the concept of a character like Gordon Freeman is something that is criminally underused in games, and exemplifies all of gaming's strengths when compared to other forms of entertainment. Two, MC is a shallow, "bad ass" character who is horribly developed.

I dig them both to be honest. I prefer the soldier who was taken from his family under ten years of age, bred for one purpose, watched as many of his fellow inductees didn't make it through the augmentation process, wants to defend humans although he's not sure most of them accept him, only feels at home with other Spartans, and an AI.
