Looks better than previous Rockstar work on PC.

I really wanted to get this on PC, but I'll be damned if I have to wait two more weeks for that.
If I can't wait, I'll end up getting the PS3 version.

[QUOTE="Hexagon_777"]I have never played a Max Payne game. No idea what it's about.GiantAssPandaThe best TPS games I've ever played. For real. Most would think that the amazing story is the star of the game, but they would be wrong. The even more amazing Soundtrack is what captivates me every single time. Max Payne 2 rocked it by redoing the theme song with a cello and violin....that sounded perfectly moody, like Max Payne :D
Am i the only one who likes the new Max?kris9031998Nah, I think I'm in and really, if not Remedy then the next Best choice for Max would be R* ... No questions asked. :P

Seeing as we normally have to wait a year for Rockstar games 2 weeks are nothing. But I will get it on PS3 if the PC version ends up having ludicrous system requirements.
Those look more like bullshots than screenshots.foxhound_foxProbably just compressed from bigger pics to hide any sort of aliasing. But otherwise I see nothing that would indicate that they've tampered with the pics.
Those screens are so sad. Wtf are they doing with Max Payne, why not keep it true to it's roots. This looks so generic.
The original noir, winter in new york city, scum bag italian mobster, sleezy motel rapes, junkies and trying to be the only cop in the department that's not on the take... this is... sunny, samba and south americans... and I don't even
I wish Remedy was making Max Payne 3.
It only makes sense, Max Payne 1 and 2 took the New York setting far enough, it's time for something a little different. People always want something new, but then when it comes they complain. Those screens are so sad. Wtf are they doing with Max Payne, why not keep it true to it's roots. This looks so generic.

See that's some **** Noone ever asked for anything different of Max Payne, everyone I've ever met that played those games LOVED those games for what they were. And noir, crime, hard boiled detective crime, it's a genre, they could have given us something new but kept it in the same genre. This looks like a new IP. This should just be a new IP. I'm still going to play it cause of how much I loved the first 2, but this is really putting me off. Not to mention I've been reading James Ellroy lately, White Jazz, LA Confidential, and I just finished playing Alan Wake, I could really use a true Max Payne 3 right about now. Those screens are so sad. And whats with the last pic?? Max looks incredible stupid now I can't take him serious anymore. What have they done to Max's character...
[QUOTE="Eddie-Vedder"]It only makes sense, Max Payne 1 and 2 took the New York setting far enough, it's time for something a little different. People always want something new, but then when it comes they complain. There's a difference between changing the settings and completely changing the feel of the game. The Max Payne games were the grimiest, dirtiest and darkest games I have played. It made me feel dirty playing them, I like that, I like that dirty feeling...ya dig? This looks way too clean. I'm not bit*hing because it's not a copy/paste of the first two, but I don't think it will do anything for me like Max Payne has in the past because of the stripped environment. The gameplay tweaks actually look cool, even if they are a little too mechanical rather than arcadey. Those screens are so sad. Wtf are they doing with Max Payne, why not keep it true to it's roots. Max Payne isn't defined by the New York setting and the Brazil setting offers something new and is a natural progression of the story. It's good to see them not rehashing the same formula again. What about Sao Paulo doesn't scream Noir, scum bags, sleeziness, and junkies? It's the same genre, it's still Max Payne, it's still Noir, it's still a crime story. It has nearly all the elements you'd find in the Noir genre. I'd love to know what you're seeing that tells you otherwise. The sunlight?[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"][QUOTE="Eddie-Vedder"]

And Remedy has been involved with Rockstar on the development of the game, giving them feed back on various builds throughout development as well as giving Rockstar their full blessing on developing a sequel to their game.

Honestly, I've been waiting in 2009 for this game, and back then I wasn't into PC gaming much.
After I'll these delays, I'll be damned if I have to wait 2 more goddamn weeks to play this game, modding possibilities be damned (plus I rarely use mods, and only on games like GTA and Fallout where I love to screw around in).
Bright colours in max payne? I cant remember that at all...
I remember lots of gloomy looking places and depressing talking not what looks like splinter cell on holiday.
