Usually word of mouth takes awhile to get around but im sure microsoft are hurting with software sales and XBL subs on the xb1 cause the product isn't as fantastic as the ps4 and I think many people bought it aren't using it as much compared to the ps4. They've had a long time to fix the problems with the xb1 but PS4 still has it beat in many ways.
At this rate I got more faith in the next sony console than microsoft so there next product better be amazing because I think they lost a lot of brand mindshare this gen that now won't just blindly follow them into the next xbox anymore.
Right, their mindshare is shrinking quickly. MS better improve their strategy next gen (or with the upgraded Scorpio), and they can't rely on Sony "taking an unexpected bump in the road" just to get ahead. They need to expect a situation where Sony performs strong and closes strong. Which means weak-knees Microsoft need to bust their butts three times as hard. They need to fix their public image, stop looking like the undesirable 'lesser console' on shelves, and start pushing out the big console-movers much earlier (Gears should be on number 5 soon, not 4). The Xbox One right now is cheaper but still selling far worse. Forget about matching PS4's numbers - they can't even beat or match the Xbox 360 ones. That's a sign of company problems and an erosion of fan interest/trust.
And as for this thread, it's still funny seeing some Lemmings get so triggered about Overwatch and UC4's numbers. They really don't like seeing Sony anything sitting at the top, and will now latch on to Blizzard's game. Anything to deny a Sony win no matter what. Over a month ago, Blizzard was on your SHIT LIST, because they "pandered to the SJW" and opened Pandora's Box by changing Pandora's Bum. Like most things Herm/Lem hybrids say, it turned out to be nothing but an innocuous developer decision, like countless others made every day (yes, even in UC4 with the Nadine character, suggested by a female employee). No sky fell down, no males overrun out of their homes by the Feminist Beast, and you didn't keep your word when you said you'd boycott Blizzard. The Earth rotated like normal, and Sony kept doing what it was doing, and MS kept flopping like it was flopping.
It's really good to see Overwatch do so well (shame about Battleborn). It's not easy for any developer to try out a new IP/genre and have it instantly click with the audience, and the game is admirably polished to boot. Also, great Overwatch numbers means great business for Sony too (lmao Lermits!) because the PS4 version will likely - as usual - sell more than the others. More consoles moved than the X1, more slaying done. Thank you, Blizzard. The Lemmings look even smaller from way up here on King Mountain. I can't even make out their faces.
Don't fall for the new Lemming trick where they lose another contest of strength, and morph into a Temporary Hermit to try to own the Cows....at all costs. This is baby mage stuff. I see through your tricks.
