Infamous did pretty good I guess but do you think it will sell more this month than last? I remember when Killzone 2 came out also at the end of the month it sold pretty well too but the following month it sold less which kinda didn't make sense.

It was out for less than a week in North America. Not to mention, 2 days in Europe, and it wasnt even out in Japan or Australia for the month of May. That same reasonsing was applied to Killzone 2's sales when it first released in North America, but as the months passed... it consistently sold less than the previous month -- now it's not even on NPD. :P

Killzone 2 still managed to reach 2mil, its like LBP it may not be selling huge numbers but its constantly selling so it keeps adding up.

It makes no sense to compare Killzone 2 and inFAMOUS. Killzone 2 was being hyped for years inFAMOUS got hype for like two months and shared it with Prototype. People are still waiting to decide which one to get.
Sales are disappointing. UFC is a God though :shock: And EA sports active is good too. Didn't expect Punchout!! to chart actually and I was expecting double from inFamous. Looks like I just failed at predictions this month.
ufc and infamous did well for this time of the year and bad economy ,and the ps2 wow seriously if the ps3 have the same kind of support maybe the ps3 will generate some profit after all.

Yes because selling 176K of a new IP in one week is fail. I agree Sony should quit gaming. Oh and while we're at it Nintendo should quit gaming too, Punchout which was on the market for 2.5 weeks only sold 160K. So you fail too Nintendo. Because we know all sales numbers should be measured by Wii Play Numbers.

I'd like it to have sold more too, but I believe it was released on May 26th. A lot of PS3 games have started off slow then gone on to sell well. Uncharted is a prime example.

It helps that it gets like zero marketting. If I remember correctly, PSP was selling at it's best around the time of the 2000-upgrade. At that time, it had a really strong Ad-Campaign. I expect it to get better around the time Go! is released, but yeah, lack of ads, showcasing the games on the system really hurts it. With the DS, there's ads appealing to everyone "Core Gamers", young kids, girls, older women, etc. If Sony wants the PSP to sell like the DS they need to follow Nintendo's lead.
