Yeah, I just picked one up this week and it is awesome. I just think people are turned off with the price and the lack of games. I bought it for more then just games. I think it was money well spent.
I know my 2 bros said PSP sucked because they used a 1000 model when it first came out and said the graphics sucked. I showed them the new PSP and newer games... They were impressed. Trying to talk one of my bro's into getting one, so we can get some MP action going.

That and a kick-ass marketing campaign. Seriously what happened to the Sony marketing team? it is like they vanished around E3 06.
I remember they had a kick ass commercial that ran alot. I think it was a saliva song and it showed all the big stuff it had. WTF happend to the people who did that.
PS3 needs a serious price drop and then NPD would get interesting. Looks like UFC did well I hope 10 has a heap of improvements,somethings were off IMO. Also please patch it THQ rage quitters have ruined the online play.

Employees get the same salary every week, it's Sony who should care about sales. sucker punch aren't owned by Sony, so they do get a piece of the pie from game sales. But still considering infamous came out at the end of may, isn't FPS or sports game and a new IP. I think it did pretty well.

Seems like it. According to VGChartz, the Wii is ahead of the Xbox 360 by 20 million worldwide. It's implausible that the Xbox 360 will catch up. The PlayStation 3, however, is behind the Xbox 360 by only 8 million units so it's far more likely that it will catch up. Nevertheless, judging from the sales, the PlayStation 3 won't catch up either. Only an anomaly in sales can change the fortunes of these consoles now.

IIRC PS3 was selling more than 360 before it got the price cut.
the thing is, sony is having to wait so long for a price cut that whenever they finally do annouce one, ms can match it right then. ms is in a much better position to drop by $100 then sony is.

Me too,is it black? People have to understand that this is just North America and if my geography is right North America does not=the whole world. That black ship you think is sinking in NA is doing fantastic in Europe, Australia, Japan and pretty much everywhere else that isn't North America.
