That's like saying Killzone Shadowfall and Killzone Mercenaries is "Console version ' Handheld version" The "For Wii U" and "For 3DS" while confusing to some here, clearly states they are different games. And then you can look at all the different modes, stages, unlockables etc.

And if by your definition that still doesn't make Smash for Wii U exclusive then I guess we can call the Uncharted series multiplat because of Golden Abyss. Because those games are no more different than the Smash console and Smash handheld game.

Actually he is right, Smash is not an exclusive, it's the same game on the same engine with the only real difference being graphics which means nothing, and gimmick content.

I'm not sure what the spin here is. Both PS4 and Nintendo have at least ne game higher than the Xboxes best, so that should be enough to not make you mad the Xboxes whole console exclusive library is better than boths.

Sonic boom is dragging down the Wii U average. Anyone can see that. Wii U has better exclusives. You aren't fooling anyone.

This is terrible statistics, it's hilarious. The ADDITION of bad games doesn't make the overall library worse since you can ignore those games. Thus, taking an average is just stupid, especially since you didn't even eliminate outliers.

Off the top of my head, a more appropriate analysis would be a bar chart for each system, and where each category is a score (e.g 90+, 80+, etc.) then just count the number of occurrences. The more games + the more high scoring games will show a better visualisation of which has a better exclusive library. That was we can see "Sonic Boom" contributing to the "30+" or "35+" category, but it doesn't diminish the overall distribution since we can just look and ignore that category.

So you have to add bad games to give the XBONE a chance to win.

A lot of games use the same engine, so you can't use that as an argument. And that's the only argument you've presented. What makes Smash 3DS and Smash Wii U the same game yet Smash Brawl a different game? They all share a lot of the same qualities, yet we distinguish Brawl as being a different game. Just watch the Wii U version get higher scores than the 3DS version, and that alone should be enough evidence to indicate why they're different games.

Why are people so obsessed with aggregating completely unrelated scores and then saying that they mean something?

It was obvious that a lem wouldn't make an unbiased list/thread, lems can't argue with facts and people know this, that's why ps4 is the undisputed gen8 leader.
