Similar=/=equal. Hardware specs are similar and games look similar to PC too. That doesn't mean the PC is much more powerful, just as the PS3 in comparison to the 360.

And has these 3rd part developers made an extensive comparison published somewhere?`Or did they just share their opinion(argument from authority)? Because until then that's alot less reliable than this. Even though it's IGN.

The best looking 360 exclusives (Gears 3 and Forza 4) do look as good as the best looking PS3 games (Uncharted 3, GoW3 and KZ3). RDR and Skyrim, two multiplats, are more impressive on a tech level than any of those exclusives.

No. All those games have AA. And no screen tear. And textures aren't just a solid color.

Not really. Just because they're open world doesn't automatically make them more impressive. Considering both look like sh*t they're not impressive no. Infamous 2 on the other hand is open world, looks great much better than those two, runs much smoother, that even with lots of NPCs on screen, even has limited destructible environments, also pretty decent particle effects.
