I think it likely will come out for the PC. They didn't say it was running on a dev kit like they used to do in the past, they simply said it was running on a PC. Why get it running that well on a PC only to never release it? Besides, most big games are going multiplat nowadays. Even the Konami published Castlevania LOS2 was announced for the PC. The FOX engine was also specifically stated to be a multiplatform engine for current consoles and PC. I think all of those facts point to it being a fairly likely conclusion that Ground Zeroes will be released for the PC as well.

I agree. It will probably have to run at a reduced resolution, with lower quality effects and shadows. However, the lighting in particular is largely why the game looks so good, so if they can maintain the quality of lighting the game will still be an outstanding achievement on consoles.

To all the Heremits, theres no PC logo at the end, I did see a PS3 and a 360 logo, and the game is said to be running real time. MGS4 was running on a PC at some E3 that I couldn't remember, back when people were still saying the PS3 was fake and all that.Kane04

Nice knowin ya Crysis. Move over Witcher 2. The Fox engine and Metal Gear say hi. What I saw in that short demo left little doubt that Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will be the best looking game this generation. Cry Engine 3 may have more bells and whistles, but the incredible modeling of the characters, the vehicles and that fantastic lighting in that demo were unmatched by anything else I've ever seen this generation. Misuse of the word "already". The gen is almost over. You'd use already if it was like 2008 or something. It's like seeing someone in a grave who succumbed to cancer after years of chemo and saying, "he already lost his hair."

Metal Gear Ground Zeroes looked INCREDIBLY good for a console game. Metal Gear Solid 4 was the graphics king when it released and wasn't surpassed until Killzone 2 in 2009. Won the 2008 Graphics Award for great reason. I can see Ground Zeroes doing the same!

Dragons Dogma looked as good as all the press videos it was a great looking game, at the end of the day they release thigns that represent the final product its not like there showing the games in resolution beyond 720p
