Metro Exodus shaping up to be masterpiece

Only 4 days left. those who are playing the game think its one of the best FPS ever made.

This will be my playthrough as well:

Shooting as little as possible and just walking around taking the atmosphere in.

Eh, bad timing since this game will be sooo overshadowed by Mighty Crackdown 3. lol :P

I thought about buying it but I'll wait until I can get myself an RTX to use Raytracing so this is a hold until I can upgrade to the RTX line. At least I can wait until it's on Steam so I should have one by then. (Fingers cross)

I will be more cautious about it. No early reviews suggest the dev might be hiding something bad in their sleeve. I think the game might be not as good as the dev and fanboys hype it.

No raytracing for me as I'd like to push the game to 120 frames :P

Not gonna lie, raytracing is a framerate killer, I do like to experiment things when it comes to PC hardware, so I'm way more curious how Metro Exodus will handle raytracing since it's going for "can it run Crysis" :P

Fingers crossed for 60fps ray traced and dlss. I'm cool with that for metro!

Early reviews should never be trusted unless it's Resident Evil 2 which scored significantly higher than any Metro game.

LOL RE2. a mediocre third person action linear game.

while this is sandbox style STALKER/Crysis hybrid. althought it wont be as good as STALKER. but if its even 1/4th of good as STALKER. it can be called one of the best FPS of all time. because STALKER's perfect.

because review embargo will be on feb 13.

My friend, if this game scores lower I'll be quoting and keeping this in my signature until the forum dies in the year 2021.

I tried last light recently but it didn't click It felt dated. Can see the quality of exodus but I'll pass as I never got into the series. Graphics and atmosphere look great though.

on gamespot it will be score 9.

I love so much about the gaming world offered but I'm no longer much of an online gamer these days.

What's truly needed IMO is a Grand SP campaign adventure taking advantage of the absolute beautiful water world offered.

Get on that already MS/Rare. :P Everything is there to make a SP storied high seas adventure masterpiece that could take the gaming world by Storm. :D

But sorry no it´s not worth downloading Tencent´s launcher, they are a questionable ethics company, where we have no idea what happens once you have given them your information.

If the gameplay can match the graphics, it's a 9 or 10. I'm excited to see what the reviewers think about the game, though I will buy/rent it no matter the score.

I think they do, but considering the response from that developer, they may not have.

But hopefully PC sales will flop and most will get it on a console.

Looks great, but unless I get a serious FPS craving I think I’ll wait until it’s on steam. Not really a fan of the entire exclusive thing epic is trying to push on the pc platform!

Good point. We'll see shortly. I get the same feeling that it may have its own issues.

Let's not forget that many popular console shooters got their start on PC. Games like Metro, COD, BF, FarCry, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, Fortnite, PUBG, Warframe, etc...

Do you get why PC gamers are pissed? it´s not about Deep Silver having Metro on Epic's launcher, It´s about the fact that they had it on steam until recently and then suddenly decided to pull it because they got a better offer. No one would have said a word or got pissed if they had from the start said it would be exclusive to Epic.

obviously i hate this move too. but i never used epic launcher before.

and i just downloaded it so i can play one of the best FPS ever made. i really hate this move and really really hate deep silver to forced me to use Epic launcher. but i also cannot wait to play Metro Exodus too.

I wish I wasn't in broke-land because this is at the top of my list. I laugh at non sense from the likes of Mooch1978 and Crapgamer when they mention its not going to sell much because of Anthem etc. Why do I care? The series has a great pedigree and I believe Exodus will continue it. How much it sells doesn't effect my play time when I get it.

I'll pick it up when it lands on Steam.
