Metro Last Light had the worst development conditions in all of gaming

It still stands the series is NOT special anymore ( maybe it will change with the next gen CoD? ).. i just get it to play with friends and have fun :oops:, i dont even touch CoD's story because of how bad it is.

I doubt there will be huge changes. People want more COD so Activision would be crazy to change what makes the game.

Haven't played the latest CODs singleplayers. Have you ever played the very fist COD? Now that had an amazing singleplayer mode.

Last I checked the developers weren't really complaining. They where mearly describing the situation and user here were giving them praise for still making a good product regardless (keep your kiddie rants to yourself).

Declassified was the worst purchase ever... but i got my money back, some stores if you buy a game and return within 24 hours you get yo money back so thats what i did lol.

Really ? If this game wasn't picked up by a publisher after THQ bankruptcy than they would surely be in even worse conditions right now. I think the publisher deserves a cut.

I'm usually the first one in line to b1tch on publishers for all the things wrong in gaming today (pre-order DLC, games being cut up into DLC, too easy and short games, ...) but we have to give credit where credit is due :)

I think something very special happened here today.  Almost all of System Wars agreed on something.

How the described above makes them different from any Kickstarter developer.

Yes, it´s cold in Ukraine in winter ( not as cold as in Rusia ; and their summer is pretty hot by the way ). 

Yes, they don´t have much funds, which is weird because I thought Metro 2033 was quite a success.

I mean all conditions you listed are due to 

a) Wheather. Blame GOD for this.

b) Lack of funds. It´s just their 2nd game, what did you expect. Not all Eastern developers are poor if the article implies that.

That sounds awful, and amazingly they've managed to develop a decent game that scored a 9 here. Those guys are some of the best people out there, they were really committed to their project under bad working conditions. Impressive.

1: That wasn't their (4A) decision. It was THQ.

2: After THQ dissolved, and Deep Silver bought Metro, they actually tried to reverse that, but were legally obligated to uphold promises THQ had made to retailers.

I think that shows just how wasteful game development is in general. Publishers throw away money at games to make them look pretty, but it really doesn't make the game that much better overall.

I don't believe this is 100% accurate and I will not believe it until I see some pictures or further corroborating evidence.

Edit: I do believe the budget would be low though

Nope, it's not story DLC or cut content for DLC. I think people complaining about Ranger mode is ridiculous. I have seen far worse DLC practices over the past few years. It was a pre-order bonus too, so if they pre-ordered. then they would have gotten it for free.
