there both very different games. Prime is more an adventure game that just involves shootin from time to time. Halo is a FPS through and through. Comparing them is quite difficult imho. Halo was really brilliant in its day (and is still a land mark title to this day). having huge open spaces, vehicle driving and 2 player co-op was a very very rare thing to have in a game. halo in 2 player co-op is great fun imho. It is a FPS first and foremost though (and a bloody great one at that). However there isnt really much thinking involved in the game. its about reflexes and keeping alert (same as any other FPS). MP is a very different kettle of fish. its an adventure game with puzzles and a greater sense of exploration than halo. a better comparison would possibly be zelda. It does have shooting but the shooting itself requires little skill. instead the game focuses on getting at an enemies weakspot (kinda like SOTC) and then hammering home the damage. there are many enemies in MP that cant be killed by blasting alone. there both excellent games but also very different. a direct comparison is unfair to both titles imho. however if i had to choose one id say MP. i prefer singe player games and MP just engages me more than halo does.

i didnt even vote cuz i already know the outcome . sheep will vote for anything nintendo. (even if they know there game sucks. im not saying mp sucks)

Hmmm.....well, I'd have to call it a draw. I like both quite a bit. But since I have to pick one, I'll go with Metroid Prime, even though it wins only by a tiny bit.
man thats real close. ima go with halo since that game made me buy a xbox and a 360 ulitmatley, teh gamecube was aslready copped since they have a wayyyy better library of games. i spent more time with halo with all my firned as well. ,P got only about 15 hours of gameplay
So lets see what SW thinks is better. 8) Both the highest scoring games last gen, besides the two AAAAs. So which was better and why? -Ramirez-
