Halo:CE is better than both Metroid Prime games and Halo 2. It gives that lasting appealing which those other games don't.

Easily Metroid prime. Ok, i've played Halo, it was alright...i wouldn't say it's anything other than a full on shooter, and i've played too many of these, just felt like another shooter to me, with lag because of the control system on the Xbox. (which was actually a good console) Metroid prime, now here's a game which i can say does something different, with more emphasis on exploration and scanning, and was a much more relaxed gaming experience (Estrogen anyone??) also this game wasn't totally without battles, you have enemies, obstacles, and even big nasty boss monsters (RAAAAWR) I'm stuck on the final Metroid Prime form right now (expects stunned facial expressions from others, after beating Meta-Ridley(Easily the most bastardized boss in this game) But seriously Metroid Prime for me over Halo, i do however look forward to see if Bungie have made ANY difference to Halo 3 on the Xbox 360, and as can be expected, i'm also looking forward to Metroid Prime 3 Corruption on the Wii

True, I only played the PC version of Halo, but it was clear there was too much ground to make up for the X-Box version to even approach a Masterpiece like MP.

Dude, you played the crappy PC version. Play Halo for the Xbox. Single player 2 player co-op with a friends is amazingly fun, and i wont even get into the lan partying

Halo > Halo 2 Metroid Prime > Metroid Prime 2

I totally agree. Halo:CE and Metroid Prime are both masterpieces in game form and it's hard to choose between them. Halo has the multiplayer, and Metroid Prime has the single-player. I would have to say Metroid Prime by a hair.

Halo but it's close. I'd say Metriod Prime is better but there's way to much back-tracking if there wasn't so much. I'd pick Metriod

They were both amazing games, but I gave the edge to Halo because nothing beats split-screen multiplayer back then.

I'm sure its a blast, but probably no more fun than co-oping in a PC FPS.

Well even though I voted Metroid, Halos' level design was great for me, enough for me to beat Halo now 76 times and Halo 2 90 times.

I enjoyed MP more, but still, they cannot really be compared. One is a FPS with emphasis on the multiplayer experience, the other is a FPA with emphasis on the single player experience.

I never pick because my blatant bias would come too quickly into play.

If you asked "What other game would you choose instead"...

I'd probably list a thousand (well not really) other games. Let's just say I prefer Gears of War over either of those two games any day of the week. If that doesn't work, then Perfect Dark, if not that, then Unreal Tournament, if not that, Duke Nukem 3d... you get my drift. Critical acclaim, I just didn't really care too much for either Halo or Metroid Prime.

MP2 hasn't let me down yet... but I'm only 3 hours in. I really like it thus far. And the dark world isn't so bad as the light areas are exactly opposite (healing).
