Metroid vs Demon vs Flood vs Combine vs Chimera

Combine has no plural. It's always written as "Combine" There are no "Combines". God I hate it when people write that. Looking at the poll, I think Demons and Metroids are the only ones that have such...

Anyway, if we're talking backstory as well as in-game, then the Combine.
I think a multidimensional Empire would fair pretty well against those others. Just for the people that don't have a clue, the Combine Soldiers in Half-Life 2 are NOT the Combine race. They're humans that have undergone certain procedures/enhancements to turn them into a loyal soldier. Striders, Hunters, Gunships. They're all "living" soldiers. I mean, they're more mechanical than they are a life form, but you get the idea. The Advisors are believed to be the original Combine race, and they can do some pretty crazy things...

Though, as with a couple of other people in this thread, I'm putting my vote down for the Tyranids. ;)

The Floods got their asses kicked when they tried to invade earth, but i guess only a small amount of floods attacked earth at that time.

The Metroids never went to earth.

the first one is 150 ft tall second is 300 ft third is about 35 i think you can't deny that the chimera are bigger plus the first one carries a missile which when landed releases a crap ton of crawlers (they infect people)

I just got a crazy idea between the chimera and the flood what if the flood infect crawlers which makes them a different faction then chimera and the flood and then they infect the flood and chimera which creats an unstoppable race of aliens? also does anyone else wonder how the metroids are winning the poll?

yeah there are elite ones, they are fairly rare to come across though. In fact in the third game I think that there are also brute and hunter(maybe not hunters though) ones.
