:P Necrons would destroy all of those. Flood would be eradicated in an instant, Metroids would be destroyed, Combine eliminated, Chimera would be wiped from the face of the universe...
From the options listed though, I'd go with Flood or Metroids (if you count their variants, especially Metroid Prime). I would go with Demons in the traditional sense, since there's a mystical nature about them (magic > physics), but the Doom "Demons" are more or less just fire-throwing humanoids that can be killed by human weapons.

The Flood's strength comes from how it's nearly impossible to eradicate it completely. If you leave just a few spores alive, it will be back before you know it, as strong as ever.

Ughh yes they are lol, anyway probably the flood, the flood probably can't beat the zerg because they would evolve accordingly if you infect em.
Metroids actaully kill their victims in a few seconds and their one weakness is cold temperatures. I'd put an Omega Metroid at the size of maybe a Brumak.

Well, strength in numbers implies that there are merely a lot of them to deal with. The problem with the Flood is that you can never get rid of it, so no matter how strong the opposing force is, the Flood will probably still be around no matter what the outcome. Come to think of it, the Flood shouldn't really be a player here, since it's more of a disease. In what? A pitched battle?
Then it would be the Metroids or the Flood. In an extended war? The Combine.
You can lose every single battle you fight, but still win a war.
Danm_999
Why would the Combine win? They don't have the numbers to against any of them, if they fight the Flood then they would be fighting Flombines in addition to the other Flood. The Forerunners (who had large numbers and technology) couldn't win against the Flood, I don't see how the Combine can fare any better.

The Combine have limitless numbers, they're just spread across several universes.
They'd win a war (not a battle), because they have the technology, which the Flood don't. The Flood wouldn't even be able to attack the Combine unless they engaged them first, they have no spacecraft or vehicles, whereas the Combine have inter-universal teleportation.
Do the flood actually die? I mean ... ever? Unless the Halo is used.
They're endless, and infect all.
The Metroids are pretty damn badass too.
I'd say instead of comparing the enemies, you should compare the heroes who beat them.

And the chimera can make it snow in the middle of july. They actually crave cold temperatures because their metabolisms are 12 greater than humans. Its not uncommon for them to have 2 to 3 hearts as well.
Edit: We need to clarify: is this Halo 3 flood or Halo 2 flood? Because Halo 3 flood would get wiped out first no question. 1 shot/punch to the head and they drop and their bodies break apart so smaller flood spores can't invade the bodies anymore. Halo 2 flood are much tougher, much faster, far more threatening in close quarters, and their bodies don't break apart as easily. Halo 2 flood could probably finish as high as 3rd.

But Motherbrain did'nt need any freeze ray to kill Samus' metroid baby at the end of Super Metroid! Proving that you don't have to freeze them, you just need lots of firepower. Something the chimera have in spades. Honestly, this is a two-man race in my opinion. Chimera and Metroids with Chimera getting the edge because of numbers and sheer technilogical prowess.[QUOTE="Gamerz1569"]

No, the Flood cannot chase you beyond a few million light years. They can't even become spaceborne unless you're as stupid as the Covenant and allow them to board several ships in your fleet and crash them. That's how the Forerunner won. They simply got of the Flood way's, retreating to the Arc, and purging the galaxy. And that was only a few million light years away. The Combine are in several other universes, which are only accessible by extremely sensitive teleportation machines the Flood have no hope of operating, given they can't even master the bazooka. Very, very badly.
Many, many times when I've played Halo, the Flood blow themselves up with the bazooka (hence my comment they can't master it).
That's not enough to successfully pilot a starship, or run a portal.
plus the fact that the flood exist in many places throughout the universedragonfly110
It doesn't matter. The Combine exist in many dimensions. Even if the Flood absolutely pwned them in our universe, all the Combine would do is stop coming to this universe. And without a food source, the Flood would soon perish.
To use a historical analogy, it's like New Guinea tribesman living on a secluded island being attacked by a British warship in the 1800s. They might defeat the crew of the warship, but they have no hope of taking the fight to Britain. The best they could do is stop the British from coming to their island.
and the fact that they have grave mind (and possibly other brain sources to guide them) and i thought that the Flood DID beat the forerunner?dragonfly110
Not really. The Forerunner retreated to the Arc, activated the Halo rings (purging the galaxy of life) and then its implied they returned to Earth and became or favoured the humans.
Combine hands down.
They have taked over many many galaxies.
They have taken over earth in 7 hours (Advisors vs earth united. Combine did not even have soldiers back then just those worm things)
They have many synths and mass weapons.
They have most of the earth slaved in a matter of time.
Many more things i cannot list right now.
And also before you say one man took them out with a crow bar.
The same could be said for those other things listed.
Which is no problem for the Combine. If a full scale outbreak occurs, they'll simply stop going to that galaxy. They're trans-universal, they beat the Flood in scale alone.People here seem to forget that the flood can infect people with spores, and can infect computer systems and space ships. The only way to stop a full scale outbreak of flood is to kill everything they could feed on, i.e., all life in the galaxy.
