Hahahah how embarrassing for M$ that their $500 system is nothing more than a slightly more powerful 360. This game is the biggest example yet of how big the difference in 1080p and 720p is. Enjoy your 360 version lems because it is the same as Xbone.

Meanwhile Titanfall runs at 792p with framerates between 35-45fps whenever you are in a Titan. Microsoft really built a joke.
no they arent using the dgpu and stereo drivers..also the hana 2 was just turned on so the system is gonna be ok

While it's clear that one version (PS4) looks a lot better and one console (ahem, PS4) is a lot stronger, I'm sure that a few years from now, most games released for both consoles will be upscaled sub HD while trying to compete graphically with PC games.
SW is kind of boring now a day! It use to be a 50/50 matches with Cow vs Lems now is so 1 sided is not even funny lol I hope Titanfall will be a strong push for Xb1 and bring some fire back to the lems lol
I think Konami did the right thing with XB1. 60 FPS is more important than 1080p. Good thing I went with PS4 first and can get the best of both worlds. Also to people saying there is no difference between 720p and 1080p, that's just flat out wrong. If your TV is around 50" or higher you can easily see the difference.
@Opus_Rea-333: I know it's not a price drop but Target has a free $50 gift card when you buy the XB1 console. Might want to look into it. Basically get a free game when you buy the console.
I hate pictures for comparisons, anyway, it was a shock for me to see that much of a difference, the X1 isn't that weak. From the look of it, things won't get any better for the X1 in the near future.

Last gen versions actually look pretty good. Everyone gets it by now that PS4 is more powerful so time to stop comparing every single game and you have to be blind to not see the difference between 360/Xbone
This is likely to be standard for most games, the Xbone needs to take a hit somewhere either lower res or frame rate. I would actually prefer a hit in resolution if I had to choose, so Kojima made the right decision.

Yeah pretty funny how everything flipped, especially as how lemmings was saying how the PS4 would need to be weak as Sony don't have any money. This gen there is no real challenge from Nintendo either, so looks like Sony are right back on top of thangs.

No, it isn't. That's PR bs. Yes, it does have over 10 times as much RAM but to most people, including me, the GPU is where the real meat of the console is and the GPU in X1 is approximately 5X as powerful as the one in X360, not 10X. The GPU in PS4 is approximately 7X as powerful as the one in X360. MS (And even Sony) likes to avoid the numbers and talk about "efficiency" when spinning their way to their 10X as powerful nonsense but the reality is X1 is 5X as powerful as the previous gen, PS4 7X as powerful as the previous gen.
They both should have been 10X as powerful though, especially considering that the previous gen was 8 fargin years long! Epic Games campaigned for next-gen consoles that were truly 10X as powerful, which would have meant 2.5 tflops machines. But both companies flipped Epic the bird and focused on profitability instead. Everybody keeps making out like PS4 is so fantastic but it really isn't. It's underpowered compared to what it should have been. X1, meanwhile, is extremely underpowered, so much so that it makes PS4 seem better than what it is.
I'm fine with the resolution issue as the PS4 is simply more powerful hardware/specs wise than the One and even as both are better optimized and improve a gap will remain. That is simply fact, not worth fighting over. What pisses me off the most is the way Kojima doesn't express to Xbox fans how he is working hard to produce the best version of his game he can on the console and how his team wants to ensure its a high quality production. Its like he says "The PS4 version is the best and we aren't talking about the other ones, but we will try to make a few bucks off of them." I get that there's a power difference and the PS4 version will run the best, especially seeing as its the lead platform. But since you are developing for Xbox One and some of us are MGS fans he might want to reassure us they are working tirelessly to produce a great version of the game cause right now I see no reason to buy this. IW and Dice both admitted what version of CoD and BF had the better specs, but when out of their way to assure owners of the other console they were vested in producing a very high quality game and that mattered to me far more than resolution. So far no MGS for me, ether this glorified demo or the Phantom Pain.

If an exclusive game can't do it right then you can't blame anyone else. Maybe if they used 2D crowds they could do 1080p though...

It was but that was nearly 8 months ago. What I'm saying is I'm not hating on whatever resolution and framerate the game comes in at. But I'd love to hear him speak on how they are optimizing and genuine give a damn that they will achieve the best performance available for the console. I get that multiplats will perform better on PS4. I just don't give a damn enough about resolution to care. But I do care that the dev give a damn about me enough to express they are working hard to give my platform the best it can be. The makers of BF and CoD and Titnfall are all doing that and even with the resolution differences I'm enjoying and bought the games. That's my point. People can fight all day about 1080p. It didn't make me buy killzone. It hasn't sparked me to pick up a PS4 for Infamous. But Titanfall is on everyone's lips and its not the best looking game at all. Its simply one of the best playing.
The difference is definitely noticeable this time around. The Ps4 is more powerful. That doesn't mean much though. Both systems will get a stream of great games, and that's all I want.
