And im pretty sure it also contains all the languages. So that could be cut down a lot for different regions.

Seriously though....how many people can take advantage of the uncompressed audio? Or even 1080p native? not that it was.Good question. If it was compressed, it would easily fit on two Dual-layer dvd's. I'm still gonna buy a PS3 eventually so it doesn't make much of a difference to me.
ps3 cant do 1080p native....mixedplanetBS Sony said it would at 120FPS with titles of MGS4 caliber!

They forgot Lair and Gran Turismo Prologue.
Achievements would make MGS4 sweet in my opinion. It would give me incentive to play through it again.

Ken actually said we'd be able to store movies in some cell storage, i cant remember the terminology. But anyway, while the movie was stored there, TEH POWAH OF TEH CELL would basically upgrade the movie to HD, what they call the aging process. LOL, what happened to that?

580P? Its 720P native. Nice try and it uses all 50 gigs. Who should I trust you or Konami ... ?

Yet a game like MGS4 that isnt even 720p native looks better than all those! Plus none of those games got a 10. So I ask you! Is 1080p even a factor yet? Yet some people on here were 1080p this and that a year or so ago.[QUOTE="ReverseCycology"][QUOTE="NiTiZ"]MGS4 isnt native 1080p on the PS3. And it isnt 50GB either. Fail.nVidiaGaMer

I was talking about the thread in general... I actually agree whole heartedly, achievments are amazingly fun... I just racked up about a hundred points in GHII doing silly things, having a blast and watching the time roll by.

That's pretty sad actually. I've replayed MGS4 (and other games) many times just for the sheer fun of it.
On topic, MGS4 will always be PS3 exclusive and its singleplayer is 720p. You guys are thinking about the multiplayer aspect.

you'll change your tune once you get trophies. I was one, before this generation that thought achievments were rediculous, but once you start racking them up, or really working on a game, they just pull you in... you'll see.

Speaking more specifically about the functionality of the system, Kutaragi said that an online storage system called Cell Storage would allow users to store their media and process and refine it using idle time on the Cell chip itself, performing tasks such as scaling up standard video to High Definition. The system's security will also enable users to make protected "rips" of their DVDs, he claimed.

So have I, but what about the fun to be had from specific challenges with a reward for completing them?
For example, "Kill every single person in the game" or "Beat the game wearing only the suit".
The possibilities are endless and only a Sony fanboy will deny the fun achievements bring.

I think that a report from the people who actually made the game is more trustyworth, though.
