i really like MGS4's desert/urban style it looks cool. All three of those games look very good, but i'd still have to say Crysis wins, but by a thin margin.DDX2

MGS4 has the style but crysis looks better. 

Well Crysis does look better...just out of the sheer amount of the jungle detail. I think the character models in MGS4 are better though IMO. With the exception of the main character in Crysis and some of the aliens, the enemies in the game look kind of poor compared to the enviroment around them.Truth-slayer

Not really. Notice that there are vry few detailed models in MGS4, majority has very low detail level, much lower than Crysis. And the best crysis models are better than even snake model

I was pretty surprised with how well MGS4 and Drakes held up. Crysis undeniably looks better, but i don't know whether i prefer its art style to that of drakes and mgs4.reaperstoll

Agreed. Crysis of course get's the nod in terms of raw graphical prowess, but regardless, after games like Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is released, I think that people are going to start to get a sense for what the PS3 can really do....like many of us have been saying all along. It is only 5 months old, just wait and see what it can do, folks. There will be plenty of killer games on the PS3...Uncharted, and MGS4 screens are just a teaser of what is down the road. 

I do not have an uber computer, so unless there is a decent port to either the PS3 or 360, I will never get to play Crysis, but to see that the PS3 can come remarkably close in terms of graphics, makes me not even really care, as I prefer console gaming anyway. Uncharted will be amongst one of the best looking titles, among many, that will be released this gen on either of the "big 2" consoles....no doubt about it.

Let's see... $3000 to play Crisis the way it looks in those screens, or, $500 to play MGS4... How does one decide? :roll:

Looking at the screens made me realize just how powerful PS3 is and how possible it is to have Crysis run on PS3.

Dude, the graphics in Crysis 'pwn' the graphics in MGS4 and Drake's Fortune. This must evidently mean that it is a superior game in all regards, and thus must be at the very top of my purchase list, without question.

Or you could play Crysis with a super macho super hero kicking some real butt. Flinging people across a map with more polygons on one screen than MGS4 has in its entire game. The flick of a mouse instead of a hundred different combo moves. Blowing helecopters up with a single button instead of menu, direction, aim, then fire. DOH!

Mind you i suppose its different from the same run and jump games you ps3 owners seem to get all the time. I pity you all.

So what I get from this thread is that Crysis looks better than MGS CGI and Uncharted CGI.  The only ps3 gameplay pics in that comparison are 2-3 from uncharted.  Everything from MGS 4 is from the original trailer which took a bombshell of a downgrade since then.  Those shots came from the trailer where snakes mustache had "10,000 polygons". 

Crysis is officially > Sony PR trailers.
