Microsoft copying Sony again???

According to this video, Xbox allows you to play games while they are being installed. However that only applies to games that are being installed from the disks.
I guess Microsoft has become truly desperate now. Instead of making a console based on their own vision, they try to turn the Xbox One into a PS4.

What's next Microsoft?

First you hear about Sony integrating Gaikai into the PS4, all of a sudden you have cloud integration.
Then you hear about the amazing policies PS4 has, all of a sudden you have the same policies as well.
PS3 has bluray, now you have bluray
They also copied video sharing and the eyetoy

Don't forget how much MS copied Sony by making a videogame console in the first place. It's like- FFS Microsoft, come up with your OWN ideas FOR ONCE. Because innovation is good and stuff and something. It makes me so mad I tells ya, rabble rabble rabble.

What game in their limited stable copies GoW?  Sorry, I dont keep up with MS games much these days.

I have no idea what they do that copies LBP, but I'd rather not know.  Platformers from the 80s play better than LBP.

This was known not too long after the reveal. MS just didn't make a big deal out of it. Sony pumped up the share button for 20 minutes and MS has that feature too which they just mentioned in their presentation, in a effort not to bore the hell out of everyone like Sony did. Old news.FoxbatAlpha

Is touting this as a feature really a big deal? Who possibly cant wait a few minutes for a game to install?

Not to mention Id bet good money playing while the game is installing will lead to choppier and slower play time, and a marked drop in the install time because it is trying to play the game and install the same game at once.

The system is months away and this is the kind of thing they are talking about? I figured they would be talking about useful or exciting features not pimping out "Hey we know you waited a year for this new game d00ds! But guess what, now when you finally get that new game you can play it 3 minutes sooner thanks to our awesome play while you install feature!"

360 had BC through emulation, it didn't need a cloud streaming substitute. So thats ONE whole new feature the PS4 will have. Whoopty f*cking do :lol:

i had to speed read through that essay but i agree with u about the price of the x1. it's too expensive compared to the other 2 consoles. if sony doesnt find a way to pull off a convincing victory this gen, it will go down as arguably the biggest waste of momentum in the history of gaming.

No, no it wasn't. I posted in a cow thread on topic. TC claiming MS is copying said function, which I called the "cows" out (which were the fanboy faction supporting the thread), as "trying too hard".
