Even you know that's not true, you will get owned left and right when all the amazing PS3 exclusives carry over to the PS4, and new ip's are being created, while you're stuck with Halo/Gears/Forza for another gen.StrongBlackVine
It is true. Sonys drive to getting indie devs on board proves it. How many studios did Sony shut / cut ties with last year? And now we have rumours of Insomniac creating a new Xbox exclusive?LOL
I'm calling it now. Sony will try and win this gen by securing Indie exclusives (they need to try harder, they only got The Witness as timed-exclusive) while Microsoft will secure blockbuster exclusives (rumoured respawn game etc). And it all comes down to money. Playstation needs to kick up a profit to Sony. It has to. And that will be reflected on their strategy.
Sony dropped studios that were producing flops. That is how is works in business....
Sony has more capable FIRST PARTY, this is a fact based on what we know of each companies PROVEN studios. So literally MS needs some 3rd party to keep up.Â
However if MS buys too many 3rd party, it creates an imbalance, and Sony will react and either move up some announcements, or secure additional 3rd party deals themselves. I feel like most likely if one of them buys a bunch of 3rd parties, it's because it secretly already knows the other guy also had a bunch of 3rd parties lined up. So if Fallout 4 turns out out to be true, it is in reaction to something MS found out about Sony. However MS might have 1 or 2 additional ones signed on to produce an exclusives, which is needed to compensate for their lack of 1st party.Â

I don't think fallout 4 is going exclusive, just wouldn't be no point for them to do that. I'm sure those developers know people are going to buy the ps4 in droves so unless microsoft all of a sudden bought them out or help them fund the game I don't see how they would pass up those potential sales.I hope they come good on those exclusives. AAA titles like gears of war or halo...not wii sports for the xbox kinect or something.
I don't want next gen to be like the 360 where we ran out of games to play once we finished halo/gears of war & had to look over at the ps3 and their impressive list of games.
