[QUOTE="pundog"][QUOTE="Firelore29"]That's not the point. The point is that it may be great for a few games but it's not going to be something that developers will produce a number of games for. You mentioned Guitar Hero, yes it's wonderful, but there are only 2 games that use the guitar and they are both Guitar Hero games. Firelore29
So now you know what games will and won't support it? That must be a pretty sweet job at Mircosoft you have. It's called past experience. Why don't you list one add on remote that was added to a console that took off to the point that other 3rd party publishers/developers made games for it.. There will be some people who buy this accessory sure, but no where near all 10 million 360 owners will. In turn 3rd party developers won't spend time developing games for it.
Otherwise it will try and map it's movements to movements on the 360 remote and you will have yourself a PowerGlove.
Again the dualshock. It became the de facto standard controller for the PS1 (or the PS brand for that matter). Plus with the sidewinder and xbox controllers MS has shown they know how to build a gamepad. Again, you know absolutely nothing about what MS is planning to do with this controller. For all we know MS has a full line of sports games, party games, FPS's and 3rd party support for the controller that could be better than the Wiimote. We're not talking about a 3rd party controller like the Powerglove (that had zero game support), we're talking about a 1st party controller from a company that owns some very good developers and has some very deep pockets to pay 3rd party developers to use a new controller. The point is, no one here has any idea what MS has planned.
