I guess the SOny defense Force forgot about the PS1 days when Sony told electronics retailers that sold Sega products at stores that they would get delayed shipments of other Sony electronics if they continued to sell Sega consoles. Circuit City was the 1st one to give in and didn't carry any Sega consoles :-(. Also when the Dreamcast launched SOny LIED and told the Media that the PS2 would literally be 20X more powerful than the Dreamcast. Many gamers hung onto this crazy Lie that Sony made and didn't purchase a DC even after DC having the best Launch Line Up of games Ever. When the PS2 finally launches Dreamcast Launch games look AND Run better than PS2 launch games but the damage was already done by Sony's Evil Empire and Sega couldn't hold on to its console business. Sony is every bit as evil as M.S. if not MORE so especially when considering they had that root kit scandal.

Just like we did on the PS3 and 360. And the gen before that. MS will no doubt have next gen versions of Halo/Gears/Forza/Madden/Fifa as well as Final Fantasy, Mass Effect 4, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty whatever, Assassins Creed 4, a ton of sports games, racing games, and whatever new multiplats that are coming like Destiny, ect. So the 720 will easily meet any gamers core needs. Just because Kinect is there as well has no bearing on the core games I have played and will continue to play. I hope it will greatly improve and we'll see the true ability it can bring. But if not I'll have my controller in hand playing all my fav core games and MS exclusives.Food for thought. Both Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft will cater to core and casual games no matter any press release. Both spend money. That's real life.

2) Abandon hardcore fanbase later in the gen
3) Make developers charge for DLC (as in case of Valve)
4) Put a size limit to patches and dlc
5) Milk their products (ex: Xbox hard drive is separate from a normal one, so you have to buy an overpriced Xbox HDD for more space).
And those were just off the top of my head.
It just perplexes me how you're okay with all of that. Especially now that they are just going for Kinect.

2) I'm happy you're having fun with your Xbox, sadly of all the games you listed only 3 are exclusives and that's Halo Gears Forza. Instead of releasing Kinect shovelware I'm sure there'd be a lot more worthwhile exclusives to play on Xbox.
3) I wasn't talking about EA or Bioware, the example I put was Valve mate. There was also a huge free update for Unreal Tournament 3 that didn't go on XBL for the same reason.
I also love how you convinced yourself that I'm in emotional distress. I have better things to worry about than other peoples console preference, shawn ;).
