Laughing at the going back and forth between lems and cows. I appreciate both. This whole 360 has no games is ridiculous because I guess I'm the only one here not independently wealthy. I have many games from the spreadsheet I havent played for 360. And PS3 did push blu ray at first, but that console has some great experiences to play on it, which I enjoy. If either left gaming it wouldnt bother me. I still have plenty of options, and someone would take their place anyway.

Not true. It was the Dreamcast that started online gaming on consoles. And the Kinect is just an improved version of Sony's EyeToy.

But Microsoft do deserve credit for making achievements a big part of online gaming, so I'll give you that one.

i think you need to give me the online one also..

DC invented online? lol in 1999? i was still using dial up internet on AOL in that time... their online must have been a joke...

microsoft made online what it is today..well and PC but im speaking of consoles..

Again, not true at all. Xbox Live didn't do anything new that the Dreamcast's SegaNet hadn't already done before it (besides Achievements). It was Sega that pioneered online gaming on consoles, not Microsoft (though they did improve it slightly).

Sony just because their 1st party games imo are much better but other than that they are both important. Sega introduced online gaming on consoles Ms improved it and sony improved it by making it free and give gamers an option, Sony's eyetoy introduced us to motion games or whatever you want it to call it and MS improved it with the kinect, MS introduced us to achievements and imo i think sony improved it with the trophy leveling up other than that their both pointless and i could care less about it, MS introduces us to built in hard drive in a console and for the ps2 you had to buy the add on and for some stupid reason MS didnt include it in the x360 while the ps3 went the xbox 1 way and included a hard drive etc i could go on about Nintendo, Atari but yeah competition is good for us gamers who like games and not haters
