July was a solid month for Xbox 360. We dominated the E3 landscape, took home 11 Game Critics Awards and closed out a profitable year with $2.1 billion in growth in our Entertainment & Devices Division (Microsoft internal data).

Ultimate-Matt

How was July a solid month for the Xbox 360? They were outsold by the PS3 in that month and the month before that. I predict that 360 sales will slowly drop each month.

did you also predict that killzone would OWN Halo 2?

oh and by the way,

I dont by any means think the PS3 is the more popular console just because of these numbers. It's a pretty dead heat at this point. Heck, the 360 just outsold the PS3 in Japan by 15,000 units. It's pretty crazy, but stiff competition is good for us consumers, lol.

Hey all take third place if the 360 sold more than the PS3 in Japan and thats mostly because Tales of Vesperia and Infinite Undiscovery
