You know this because you tested every 360 in existence, right? I've already dispelled your source and no one outside of here has heard of 1up..Keep grasping. the State of California beckons...
HuusAsking
So many things wrong with thta sentence.
First off, even if "no ones" heard of it, it doesn't mean it's unreliable. If you go to certain parts of the world people havn't heard of Plato, does that mean he's an unreliable source? Hardly.
Also, if no one outside of here knows of 1UP, how come they have an online community? or are included in averages for sites like Metacritic. CLearly people outside of SW know of 1Up, so stop making up lies.
Btw, you can't just dismiss a source without good reason, nice try though.Stop trolling and move on, because you're just making a fool of yourself at this point, and you'll need to find someone else to make a fool of you, because I have some Mathematical proofs to work on.
We have a good reason to reject the source, though: lack of credibility.General rule of Internet thumb: Blogs are not considered credible sources of news.
Let me put it this way. If it was really such a hot-potato issue, why hasn't GameSpot itself covered it (or perhaps even their parent companies CNet and CBS)? Where is IGN? ZDNet? And considering how big Microsoft is, something like this would probably make CNN. These are what we mean by reliable (perhaps more properly, credible) sources.

Just thought you would like to see it elsewhere:
"If there's one thing former San Jose Mercury-News writer Dean Takahashi knows, it's Microsoft's gaming hardware. In 2002, his book Opening the Xbox recapped the making of the software giant's first entry into the console game industry. Shortly after Microsoft launched its follow-up, Takahashi followed suit with The Xbox 360 Uncloaked." (direct quote)
But this doesn't prove anything, since real proof hasn't come to light. Speculations, and interviews and investigations don't amount to truth until MS comes clean, which will never happen.
And I don't see this as a bad thing. 360 fanboys (not saying Hussasking is, not calling you one at all, seriously no sarcasm here!), just 360 fanboys, hell, even ps3 and nintendo fanboys will be blind to the fact that there is faults with their system. If the ps2 fiasco had happened to PS3 now, and 360 was a more relaible hardware, the ps3 fanboys, or enter sytem name here fanboys would still defend their console. We as gamers, and more importantly consumers should demand more from the companies making the consoles. They are making money off of us, and if we buy faulty systems, instead of forcing their hands to fix it, we are telling them it's ok to give us a console that I paid alot of money for, but will break down and we will exhange it for another refurbished (not even new) model. Would anyone be ok buying a brand new BMW car, knowing it will break down, but oh, the warranty will guarantee that they replace my brand spanking new BMW with a refurbished model? No one would ever buy that car, but we can settle for it on consoles.
If I were in a position as many 360 cutsomers are, I would like to see MS either do vast improvements to the current hardware, or extend an unlimited warranty, at least until the following xbox comes out. Also this would ensure that MS doesn't rush their product out to the market, and instead make sure their hardware is more reliable. This is what happend with PS3 after the PS2 fiasco. They delayed launch to ensure that the hardware was more reliable. This would be a win for 360 customers.
This unrelaibilty is prob one of the biggest reasons I exchanged mine for a ps3, and don't have a 360 yet. I bought a 360, and learned about the RROD after the fact that my cousin and friend got it. Not saying all will fail, but given my luck it will, and I am too paranoid a person who was constantly worrying about every little noise or whatnot it made. I want one, but refuse to get it until they fix the problems.
Just my two cents!
