EXACTLY! how many more pages do I have to read people say stupid crap like "a new console already?" IT ISN'T A NEW CONSOLE ITS A NEW SKU FOR THE 360 NOT A NEW XBOX SYSTEM. Nobody reads up on anything. TC had no right posting this garbage.

I don't understand why they wouldn't. This gen they've proven that people are dumb enough to buy a console over and over with a 30% failure rate. Why not make something new and charge them again.

When someone brings up the failure rate, they jump right on the PS2, which wasn't even close to what the 360's failure rate is like.

Do they give you a pamphlet of possible attacks and how to spin it when you buy a 360? Maybe a whole handbook?

This is why System Wars is utterly and absolutely pointless. Every single positive can be turned into a negative, and vice versa. It's literally sickening, I feel like I am actually going to vomit.

This way MS is killing the userbase... thus reducing the software sales. MS would be stupid if they did this... bad for business idd.

well two things make me love this idea:

1) we only live once, i'd rather by playing with bleeding edge technology every 2-3 years instead of 5-10 like Sony wants to.

2) i'm used to upgrading my PC ever couple of years, why the hell would I care if I had to buy a new console every 2-3?

so yeah, i really really hope MS does this. might finally kill Sony off too :)

2.) So I guess ps3 is not that expensive.

3.) Hd-dvd is just another high storage format..... hey isn't BR also a high storage format. SO you can buy it right now instead of waiting..

4.) upgradeable hard drive like in a PC, hey, what is stopping us from upgrading the hard drive in the ps3 right now with off the shelf tech that you can buy at newegg or fry or any place that selling notebook hard drive.

5.)Yeah, you must enjoy faulty hardware. Even my 7 old pc runs more stable than a 360. And my 2 xbox is still working after 5 yrs.
