[QUOTE="Zhengi"][QUOTE="ReturnOfShinobi"]Hmm oh okay, so it isnt exclusive, but who cares, this is a big franchise that MS is getting, and i really hope for the love of God that MS creates a JRPG buzz. They are also going to push Vesperia which is awesome, i remember Blue Dragon pushing 200k 360 units that, for a 600k userbase now, thats a lot. Tales happens to be the third largest RPG franchise there and its good to see MS pushing this game so that it not only sells, but the 360 as well. That 600k userbase there is making a HUGE difference and its one of the reasons why Japanese devs such as Namco are supporting the 360, heck the 80k Eternal Sonata got was enough for them to continue on the console..
But yeah, is the conference over? Whats this im hearing about two more SquareEnix RPGs? I hope that doesnt include Infinite Undiscovery and Last Remnant?

200k on a 600k is good if you only count ratios, but as a company, overall, Blue Dragon was a failed game saleswise. Even with an anime series pushing it and having Akira Toriyama behind the game art, 200k is an epic fail.
But im talking about Japan, were the game was a huge success, its the best selling game on any XBOX console there. So yes, with that said, it sold well in Japan, because even for Japan 200k is a lot, it was enough to keep vesperia exclusive according to Namco, but in EU and NA, the sales were pretty below par. It sold about 550k, which wasnt enough to cover their costs. But regardless, MS need to realise that they need to take a hit in order for their name to be established in Japan. If they allow BD to span onto DS and let the franchises popularity rise, it could mean more for them
Please stop spinning the numbers. 1 million sold is a success. 500k sold would be a success. Bottom line, 200k is an epic fail. Especially with the cost of producing the game 200k does not cover the costs of making it.
Plus, ToV will probably be released on the PS3 as well, but probably only in Japan. It has been hinted at by Namco the same way Trusty Bell has been said to be released on the PS3.
And the fact that it's going on DS to gain popularity just shows you how bad BD has done. You can continue with your ratios and attach ratios and all of that, but bottom line once more is that 200k is an epic failure when it was supposed to do a lot better for MS as a company.
