These requirements are reasonable for a demanding game like Crysis.

My OC'd 8800GT will cry when I put this game on Very High. I may just shed a tear since it'll be like watching still photographs. :cry:Saturos3091
i doubt it. if this game is less demanding then crysis then you should be doing pretty good :D. get a second 8800gt and you'll be owning this game!

Really? I was playing on the DX9 hack that made it like DX10 on windows xp with an oc'ed 8800 gt on all very high at 1440x900 and got like 22-25 fps, playable atleast. Mind this was the demo, but you get better performance on the full game so you'd actually see an improvement.

Also crysis warhead is supposed to be much more omptimized so heck you could see a constant 25 fps maybe., which is very playable.
I don't care about requirements..... i want to know the Recommended Specs.Veterngamerhopefully off the charts lol
That is very reasonable.
It will be interesting too see how the game runs, compared to Crysis, with its optimised engine.

Yeah it should I hope. Oh I finally played and beat Crysis. :D I take back all the bad things I ever said about this game it rocks. :)
Same as the minimum System requirements for the original Crysis:

I think this information needs to be updated.

Usually the recommended specs are the actual minimum for a decent experience. The stated minimum probably means low settings at 800x600 with no AA.TOAO_Cyrus1
Not always. One of my pc's is exactly the minimum for a few games i own and it plays them all on low at a good resolution. Recommended can often max a game. no AA and no AF at reasonable resolutions. I'm not saying this is the case here ofc. We all know crytec want to sell games.
I have 3 pc's total. A low spec a med spec and what was a high spec. Its amazing what games look like at recommended, so long as you don't mind jaggies and no filtering. Also resolutions like 720p. Wait, thats like consoles.....
if those are the real minimum specs.... then my pc will beast this gamefloridaskater05
Likewise. Damn, I can't wait for it to arrive :)
If I have to play a game on low or medium setting, i rather not playing it...tonyleo01
Why? Medium for alot of pc games is comparable to consoles. I play CoH at medium on my laptop all the time @ 1200x800 and it looks better than any console rts i have ever seen.

I played Crysis on low fine and my PC is way below the minimum, but I still had a great experience.

Same as Crysis I should think since these are the same minimums as Crysis. The only difference is that apparently this should run better on the minimum specs than Crysis does.

Im still very surprised your opinion has changed so drastically, but indeed its nice to hear you enjoyed it :)The first part of crysis is great, everything after the alien ship however isn't that fun (except maybe the stronghold battle in the houses a little bit after you pick up your squad leader from his rambo experience).
Its great to see that the engines been optimised, I had to tweak the heck out of crysis.

Yeah the Ice world levels were very very under-utilised, and the linear gameplay of them was nowhere as good as the freeroaming of later levels, even if there was some spectacular scenes.Yeah the Ice world levels were very very under-utilised, and the linear gameplay of them was nowhere as good as the freeroaming of later levels, even if there was some spectacular scenes.

I reckon the bad thing about the last part is you can see the potiential it had for being like the first part of the game but only far more epic an engaging battles (korea vs aliens vs everything else). The problem was the hardware was already struggling with the end game and to make it have to do more work would have really hammered the game as a whole.
I can see why crytek did what they did but they would have been legends to pull off an open world environment sandbox battles in those last levels on the island (even if no one would have been able to play them on anything higher then medium or low).
