My future rig should handle this quite nicely.

Even HD4850 (probably the best bang for the buck card I've ever seen - followed closely by 6600GT) should be able to run this game at medium-high settings at an average of 25-30 (or even higher).

Someone in this very thread claimed that PC gaming is more expensive than ever; a statement which couldn't be further away from the truth. Quite the contrary actually. The development has been as such that we've been seeing a higher performance per ('currency') as of late. This is evident when looking at the directions that AMD/ATi has taken things. The 4870x2, the best single card solution out there, while being the most expensive is in fact cheap if you now consider the performance gain. This isn't even mentioning hardware in general, I never thought I'd live to see a 2gb DDR2 for less than 50$, and Quad Core processors for less than 200$..at least not while these components are pretty much standard today.

My OC'd 8800GT will cry when I put this game on Very High. I may just shed a tear since it'll be like watching still photographs. :cry:Saturos3091

I have the exact minimum requirements, although my P4 is 3.0Ghz and i have 2GB RAM. But i cant even run STALKER smoothly on low settings (only really a problem when in outdoor areas) so i doubt ill even get close to running Crysis. Ill just wait until December when i get my new Rig.

Played Crysis on DX9, high settings, no AA/AF at 1366 x 768 with an 8800 and low-end X2. Played and looked beautiful, especially from a distance.

I'm hoping that can make do until a rig that can play Crysis at 1920 x 1200 actually becomes affordable. (Less than 2 years... hopefully?)
