A car can weigh up to 3-4 tons while trucks go up to 44 tons. Having actually driven a 18 ton truck the only difference between that and a car is you have to be aware of the height and size of the vehicle. Unladen, on a straight piece of road I would out accelerate you in your car. The only reason we separate cars and trucks is due to licenses. I require a different license to drive a Class C truck.

How is it nonsense? Do PC's play games? The answer is yes, why should I not able to compare them? Hell with Steam Big Picture mode I don't even need to see the desktop effectively turning my PC into a supercharged console. No matter what arbitrary rule system you think we need to use here, consoles are just like PC's and yes as much as you try to get away from this fact they can and will be compared. Fundamentally, they are the same. They have wheels and are powered by an internal combustion engine.

Point being trucks are made more powerful & different. You drive them just like cars & they both have internal combustion engines. Cars are cheaper to buy & own than trucks. PCs cost more to buy & own than a console. They both play games & use processors, HDDS, &GPUs, but PCs are built more powerful than consoles & can do more than a console. Trucks can pull & haul things & cars cant. They really shouldn't be compared. I doubt you would ever see people always comparing their trucks to people's cars. Trucks are in a category of their own separate from cars & PCs are in a category of their own separate from consoles. The fact that PCs are allowed to compete with consoles on here is lame & wrong.
What is this tosh. If you want to argue specifics then please bring the facts. Fact is, the only difference between a car and a truck is weight. A car can weigh up to 3-4 tons while trucks go up to 44 tons. Having actually driven a 18 ton truck the only difference between that and a car is you have to be aware of the height and size of the vehicle. Unladen, on a straight piece of road I would out accelerate you in your car. The only reason we separate cars and trucks is due to licenses. I require a different license to drive a Class C truck.
If we turn this to PC's vs consoles, consoles are the cars while the PC's are trucks. They can do the same thing, haul things, its just that the truck can haul more. The fact you get so bent out of shape over this is rather amusing.

Just so you know, you've yet to bring a reason for your argument aside from "its lame". Why should we not compare handhelds? Why should we not compare mobile games? For what I'm seeing of this argument is, forgive me if I touch on something more deep seated here, is you don't like the idea that I can game on something more powerful than your console. As many have stated here on this very thread, PC's can play games, the same games as consoles. So what logical reason do you have to present that would stop me comparing the PS4 version of WatchDogs to my PC version?

Thats cool and all but the PC version is still the best version of minecraft, i Enjoy playing MC on my 360 but theres no denying that the Pc version is really far ahead of the console versions in virtually every way, my kids won't even entertain the 360 version of MC, they consider it Boring compared to the PC version.

Ok, not sure what you're saying but my point is....
How is it that all the (possibly millions) of PC rigs/combos/setups/configs running Minecraft are "one platform" yet the consoles (XB1/PS4/WiiU/XB/PS3) with a total of 5 different rigs/combos/setups/configs are considered different platforms. Shouldn't we just just bundle them together the same way PC users on here are claiming the PC is one platform? Thats my question
theres one fatal Flaw in your argument, PC's may have different configs but they are all running the same version of the Game, the PC version, which is what sales data is about, how many of each version of the game has been sold.
Combine together the different console versions make up more sales than the PC version, it's as simple as that really.
Whichever way you look at it it's 4 against 1.
this is a moot point though because the PC has always been considered ONE system or Platform.

Ok then let's compare mac/linux/pc vs all consoles then. It's not consolites fault that MS monopolized computer gaming. If consoles were monopolized like compouter gaming then all the minecraft sales would be on one console.
