Minecraft Xbox 360 getting paid DLC; PC gamers keep making your custom stuff.

I heard about this on the minecraft forums. Having to pay for skins is just....terrible. Why don't they just include the skins in the next update instead of dlc you have to buy.

Same reason they buy a Mac over Windows to run the same program.

Same reason they get an iPhone instead of Android.

Because it looks/feels nicer.

At the end of the day $5-$20-$50 isn't going to change your life, and if it does then you have bigger problems.

Want to talk about milkage look at horse armor, MMO's or Civ 5 DLC where people pay $5 to play as a different country.

People aren't dumb.

If they don't see value somewhere they won't pay.

Obviously they see something you don't, or use it in ways that you don't.

Everything comes down to time = money.

If I have to mod schit myself that takes time I could be doing something else.

98% of people in developed countries have a computer (either a PC or laptop), and Minecraft doesn't even need decent computer specs to run on. So why the hell is it on the Xbox?

Even my crappy laptop can run Minecraft. Even grandma's typical PC can run it.

It goes to show that the Xbox 360 is in desperate need for games, so it went out looking for games like this... It's a pity really.

Now, are you going to make some charts? :cool:

There are tons of sites that offer free MC skins, here's one of the more professional ones. It's a very small pixel art skin, anyone with an image editing program and some free time can make one to use on the PC.
