[QUOTE="Gaara79"]The forced WiI mote controls in this game are the worst part of it.
Please tell me why I have to use the Wii mote to steer in the ray surfing or ball rolling when I have a freaking nun-chuck attached to the Wii mote that I can use to steer. At least give people the option to use it to steer if they want to.
The forced Wii Mote condoles doesn't add anything special to this game except annoyance.
The strength in this game is the level design. Thats something that can be appreciated with any controller.
But not if they force you to use a control scheme that you hate just for the sake of "progress"
SMG would have been the exact same game when played with a regular controller. I don't see why people are fooled into thinking the Wii mote adds anything special to the game.

You don't like the motion controls?
I wished they were more of them, considering they were so well made.
The best part was rolling the ball. That was genious.
SMG would not have been the exact same game with a regular controller.
It would have to be changed dramatically.
i actually found some of the remote control use quite frustrating (ive done manta ray and rolling ball). the manta ray was fun, and that level would be absolute crap on a regular controller, but i just found the rolling to be frustrating. they need more of them to make it fun, when you're only learning them for one level, it makes it kinda boring.
BUT! the shaking is great, i'd much rather do that than press a button, however, the pointer sometimes goes outa whack when im shaking it to get as much star bits as i can... but i still cant imagine mario galaxy without it. It'd be just back to collecting coins, again :(
