So true imagine if sw did that, the 360 would have little to non AAAE.

i dont get the argueing, if the next gen version of the title is on PS3 but not wii and 360 then its a PS3 exclusive.. if you wanna cry about it because its on PSP and PS2 aswell then its still a sony exclusive. That said i havent played any baseball games since N64 days so i dont care =D

So, MLB 08 is a sports game so it's the same?

I still find it fairly amusing that a game that isnt on PC, 360 or Wii isn't an exclusive. As if the handheld version is going to have the same amount of features as the PS3 version and the PS2 version is going to be given the same attention and care as the PS3 version. IGN reviewed the PS2 version and scored it almost 2 points lower than the PS3 version. Just sayin. Either way I find it silly that a game on an old Sony system means the new Sony version isn't exclusive....It's still not playable on any other current-gen system. Claiming ownage on a system that came out in 2000 is rather silly to me.....maybe not be the rules here, but still silly nonetheless.

Its hard to use GRAW as an example here and say GRAW is 360 exclusive because its fundamentally different than the PC version, yet this game isnt fundamentally different. As a baseball fan I'd challenge anyone to say that the PS2 version is the same as the PS3 version aside from the fact that you hit a ball with a stick in both. You cant fundamentally change the rules of a professional sport so I'd say this is a trick question :P

This another AAA exclusive for ps3 because its not the same game on those platforms, thats like saying madden for ps2 is the same game as the xbox 360 or ps3 version, its just not, and saying otherwise is ignorant.

I was thinking about buying this game or buying 2 copies of 2k9, either way I'll be getting a 9.0.white_sox

I bought this game day 1 and its spectacular. Anyone that loves baseball definitely needs this game....or next years game if you dont have a PS3 yet :P

Lol, we had the same argument about this last year whne the score 8.5. It will be even worse because it's AAA now. Anyways congrats Sony on making an excellent baseball sim

Hey, if you have time, rent the PS2 version and see if it plays completely different like the Madden for PS3/360 vs PS2.

Like I said, I don't like beseball, but if you're going to make a game about it, make a damn good one. Great job San Diego Studios. Now let your magic shine on the NBA franchise! :x

I don't like baseball games, but I know several people that regard this game as one of the greatest sports to be ever made. Everything about it is supposedly the new benchmark for other future sports to meet. I know people buying a PS3 just for this game.

We might not like it, but that doesn't mean it should be ignored. Congrats on a good game SCEA.

Even though I hate baseball, I may actually buy this. But if there is no cheat code that allows me to roid up, I'll pass.
