Skill needed to play a certain game or no skill needed at all, we all end up sitting on out asses being entertained... ;)
[QUOTE="PS_John"]I love how the people who blindly bash MW2 fail to realise that the 3x health boost lasts for 10 seconds after your spawn and you need to die 3 times in a row to access it.. I can't really imagine how a 10 second health boost can be exploited to be honest but maybe I'm missing something? Maybe a MW2 hater can enlighten me? CheersTrmptIt only lasts for 10 seconds? If that is true thanks for the info. even so i don't think there was more than 2 times in my time playing COD4 where i died 3 times in a row without a kill.

The point is that the game has artificial leveling mechanisms to make anyone good at the game regardless of their skill level. A joke, but in any case i meant that that the addition of that perk shouldn't bother since people can get kills easily. Don't worry i find the game noob friendly too ;) It just doesn't bother me as much as most people since i still have fun with the games[QUOTE="Trmpt"] Exactly. I don't see why everyone was crying about them in the first place, they are just there to replace perks like martyrdom but without the risk of experienced players abusing it.. I always hated seeing people on 10th prestige use Martyrdom, Last stand or Juggernaut :S I have more respect for people who use M16 TBH[QUOTE="Trmpt"] It only lasts for 10 seconds? There will be random explosions and players will get random buffs. You will randomly die because that's what this game wants to have. Enjoy your fragfest. 10 seconds or not, that's still enough to get a killstreak. It's called an exploit, ever heard of it? It's pretty damn easy to exploit something like that. Dying 3 times in a row is not hard. Killing 3 people in a 10 second timespan with 3x health shouldn't be hard. Once you do so you get UAV, UAV shows you where the enemies are and you take them down, get an airstrike and lay it somewhere getting the requisite 2 kills for killcopter with aimbot. Mission accomplished. Ex-ploit.PS_John

There's a strong smell of desperation coming from your post :o
Unlike you, the sensible MW2 haters have realised that a 10 second health boost at spawn is near impossible to exploit.. Lol
If someone is able to consistently locate and kill 3 enemies within 10 seconds after they spawn then I guess it will be an issue but logic tells me that is not going to happen.

i remember playing MW1 and respawning right next to enemies, giving me an easy kill. this is another huge design flaw to add the the huge list of MW design flaws
I can understand that. Modern Warfare 2 is a completely balanced, compelling, and deep experience for videogame fans of all ages and skill levels.i hope thats not the real PS_John otherwise i'm on the same side as him *shudders*

:lol: If it was an easy kill anyway, how will a 3x health boost change anything :lol:
And how many times did you respawn next to enemies after dying 3 times in a row?? + Who's to say that IW haven't reduced respawning issues?
If you were sensible, you would realize that spawning next to enemies makes the game exciting and challenging.Brownesque
the random spawning is one of the biggest reasons i dont enjoy this game.
a game with similar map sizes ill use for an example is day of defeat, when you rush to get behind enemy lines, it adds great intensity to the gameplay. i will never have to worry about players spawning close to me. plus i worked so hard to get to this spot...why should someone randomly respawning behind me ruin it for me.
but then again there is no "behind enemy lines" places you can get to in most MW game modes

how do you know? i thought MW2 isnt out yet.
judging from MW1 however, no it won't be balanced or that deep other then perks, leveling, challanges etc.(i dont think these add much to the gameplay though)
its true that it does appeal to many skill levels, but the skill ceiling in MW1 was not that high, so for me i dont think it would have much lasting appeal

well for example what if you're team had an active UAV radar. after spawning and using your radar, its not impossible to get 3 kills in under 10 seconds...im sure this has been done by many players in the original MW without a health buff
one thing IW can do to improve the gameplay in my opinion would be to increase spawn times like you said similar to the bomb planting mode. instant respawn all the time just doesnt work

Hello everyone TC is back. To the PS_ guy , seriously what the hell are you talking about. Just face it the game will be more chaotic then you think and not in a good way. And the reason I have a GOW avatar is b/c I somewhat resemble him (minus the steroids). How many times in COD 4have you worried about a helicopter continuesly killing you, our enemies running away from a firefight with you b/c he had juggurnaut? If youthink it was bad then just wait untill the game comes out. Now if I'm wrong plese make sure to come back onto this post and tell me how wrong I was. Untill then it's in the air, but we do have COD 4 to make slight assumptions of what we are in for.
[QUOTE="Crazyguy105"]I never had a problem with small children in any of the CoD games on Live, and since the implementation of Live Parties it has become such a moot point anyway. Wait.....you can talk to other people besides those in your party? GET THE #%*& OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!I think everybody knows this TC.
Prepare to have Live filled with 11 year olds again.
Oh wait they never left.

The reason why MW is so popular is because it's noob freindly, kills are easy to come by, it's a run and gun type of game that doesn't take any skill whatsoever to play, but it's fun nonetheless and that why it sells well and why kids will be staying up past their 9:30 bedtime to play it
