Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate Appreciation Thread! AA GS....

I might just wait till 4 to try Monster Hunter, I probably won't be getting a Wii U for a while.

Yeah, Monster Hunter Tri Wii was Region Locked on Multiplayer so not a big issue, but it would have been great to play with some European folk.

i'm playing the 3DS version, so that doesn't affect me (although i wish it did, so i could play online with all you NA folks without buying a system that costs 1000 dollars here).BrunoBRS

I know they are expensive in Oz aswell but unsure of the prices of consoles in other countries like Oz or Brazil or anywhere which isnt UK lol.

Never played a Monster Hunter game before. Was thinking of buying Tri for Wii, but I'm glad I didn't yet. I'll try this whenever I get a Wii U. Just one question. Is there full local co-op for the single player campaign? This would be fun to play with my brother I think.

I said single player because I wanted to specify that I was talking about the main story mode or whatever. Some games don't allow co-op on the main game, but instead offer seperate co-op missions, like in Uncharted 2. I just wanted to make sure you guys knew I was talking about the story mode or whatever it's called in this and not some seperate thing that allows co-op.

Capcom showcases Brachydios the Brute Wyvern in MH3U

Capcom has been doing a good job of hyping the release of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for Wii U fans. Last time we got a preview of Plesioth and his set of new moves for the game, but this time Capcom is showcasing Brachydios the Brute Wyvern. Brachydios exudes slime which is new element for the game, causing players to be wary of their footing while fighting him. The slime is also capable of exploding, putting a new twist on how players will need to defeat him.

Pretty much. What does port begging add to any discussion? If you are not ready to invest in what's necessary to enjoy something then you clearly just don't care that much about it or its not in the cards right now. Or is it reasonable for me to buy 1 system and beg for every game to come to that one system? Sometimes people just need to hear the damn truth, invest or shut up because begging doesn't do anything progressive.

You can call it harsh but in my opinion, if you are a true fan of something than you follow that thing. You don't wish for it to be else where so that its more convient for you as a fan. That's not how a fan of something operates. If its not in the cards right now then you wait until it is.
