More Bugs in Madden 2008 for 360

Duh. Madden is one of the most competitive games out there and is the biggest gaming event each Summer. Why wouldn't I buy it. Blackbond

So you bought it because of those reasons.

There was a pay per view special on Comcast last year where a bunch of Hardcore gamers exploited the game and revealed most if not all the glitches. $20 to order it.

I've already sunk 20-30 hours into Madden on 360 and haven't had a single issue in any of the modes. Just lucky I guess.

Even if it IS bugged out, at least we have the option of downloading a title update when (big IF actually, it IS EA) it's available.

I'm more concerned about the lag in the Wii version's online that renders the game essentially unplayable.

I won't even go into the depth of the game once the ball has been snapped otherwise I'd have to right a 10 page paper on why you shouldn't ever make an ignorant assumption again

Madden's flaws are fundamental parts of the game. Look at the AI. The game is not deep. The game is not high quality. You are the ONLY person (seriously) defending this game. You're a Madden fantatic. You are blind.

The superstar mode is a lot better because they got rid of all the lame side crap, like landing movie deals and remembering lines and crap like that, and choosing parents. The owner mode is back as financial mode, so people who like the micro management aspect of Football will enjoy that. However, they took out stupid stuff like setting prices of popcorn and hats and whatnot.

Yeah only in Madden 04 but you probably wouldn't know that. Look at the A.I? What about it are you not playing on All-Madden? The game is proven deep by its immense gameplay mechanics and options. The same options you still refuse to respond to. I am the only person defending this game? Yeah right thats why Madden sold 7.4 Million in the U.S last year. Its not my fault that most of the forum is allergic to sports or comes from a country outside of America that doesn't accept American Football. We are not sick of Madden since it outsells practically all games.

See vids on youtube are hardly worthy of any proof. You can clearly see that the offensive player isn't slowing down at all which implies that fatigue is off. Also any idiot could have made the tackle by themselves.

Actually it does. The A.I increases as you increase difficulty. How do you people bash a game and not know these stupid things? Even the best player would let up an obscene amount of points in a game played on Rookie and do you know why? The games A.I changes on difficulty. I can't believe you guys. System wars relies on sales constantly to determine which console is better but keep telling yourself sales don't matter. Madden is quality, fun, and has a lot of depth for Football fans, you obviously don't give a crap about Madden or Football, so whats the point in argueing? Its like a hockey fan trying to tell me NHL 07 owned but I wouldn't listen because personally I can't stand hockey and I hate the sport.

woah dont hate on me cause i think that madden is a rehash every year. i played 07,06, 05, 04...abd frankly im not impressed. it gets to the point where they say "GANG TACKLES THIS YEAR!" "WOW GANG TACKLES LOOK AWSOME"

sorry, but i require more innovation than lil "weapons" taht have been around in 2k sports for years.

Seeing this thread is all about Madden 08 and you haven't even played it, your comment means nothing. Who cares about the past, 2K used to make the best Football games in my opinion but APF 2K8 was a huge let down so Madden is the better game this year.

Edit: Talk about a rehash, APF 2K8 was ESPN NFL 2K5 (Which was a fantastic game, don't get me wrong) with legends and no modes or depth at all.

Edit again I forgot something, since when in a 2K football game could a QB like Peyton Manning read the defenses play because hes seen it so much and then quickly audible to a different play. Or a hitter like Brian Dawkins who is a brick wall defender, how did he play differently at all than all the other safeties in 2K5? Oh wait there was no weapons feature in ANY 2K football game. Also would mismatches pop up on your screen if there was one?
