Yeah, when I do my backlog and when it's below 20 bucks new maybe.

There is a demo. That's the reason more people didn't play it.
ShadowsDemon
Exactly...
That why I didn't buy it, game looked interesting UNTIL I played the demo, lost all interest in it within 15 minutes.
If you base off your opinion of a game on the demo, then that explains a lot about your gaming style and tastes. How exactly does playing a demo and not liking it result in getting an idea of ones gaming style and taste? lol yeah no, that's just dumb. My gaming style is pretty similar to yours actually, looking at that sig.

Maybe so, but I never base my games off the demos. I always either pick them up or rent them, then I make up my mind like that.[QUOTE="TheGuardian03"][QUOTE="ispeakfact"]Hands down best tps this gen. Just barely edged out Uncharted. ;)ShadowsDemonUncharted gunplay has nothing on vanquish. Agreed. Uncharted felt clunky and ugly. Stop making blanket statements. Jesus Christ. Learn how to argue.

Jesus Chirst take the rod out of your arse and stop stalking my posts so you can right some stupid "comebacl" whenever you get the chance.
[QUOTE="RyanShazam"]Mediocre Story Boring and Unlikable Characters Short Campaign With No Replayability No sure how it could have worked but it needed some sort of Multiplayer aspect. Maybe Co-Op missions or campaign. Good Graphics Excellent Gameplay. Very solid and the gunplay flows amazingly. I personally don't see much of a point playing past the demo.Master_ShakeXXXThe action, set pieces, and all around craziness gets dramatically increased as the game goes on. That's the point of playing past the demo. Vanquish offers a rush unlike any other shooter. It gets your blood pumping and heart racing, espcially in the challenges. And it's only SP!
[QUOTE="Sushiglutton"]I may be alone on this, but I enjoyed the dialog ("Stick some tungsten up this tunnel's ass! This colony ain't gonna walk straight for a while", works for me !) and the characters. I thought the bad guys plan, explained towards the end, was hilarious in a so bad it's good way. The art-design was cool, with the different robots being the highlight. Some amazing stylish cut-scenes to top it off. In short I enjoyed a lot more than just the stellar gameplay. It's a very entertaining package!ispeakfactI have to agree with you. In any other game, I think I would have been annoyed, but there's something about Vanquish where the cheesiness just works. Exactly. Vanquish's story and characters are bad in a good way. It's all so cheesy and over the top that it's hard to not be entertained by it. It's a farcry from the stories in something like Borderlands or Dead Island, which had absolutely no redeeming qualities (talking about the stories and characters, not the games themselves). Personaly I loved the characters and dialogue in Vanquish.

It laughs even further at the people who take it too seriously.

I too enjoyed the cutscenes and dialogue. It was like Devil May Cry meets shooter.
played it...enjoyed it...boss battles were very fun... LOVED the mini bosses (crystal viper and unknown) were so awesome... gameplay is extremely solid.. only things which were negative about the game...was the repetiveness in the stages and colours (was anything NOT white or grey...) also the laughable 4 hour length and music/story.campzorThe game was pretty colourful too me...
