PS3 is graphic king, give it up. The power of the Cell is unlimited. That's why Uncharted 2 has this whole world to explore, with hundreds of A.I to fight at a time.

LOL, I'm not stupid, PC games will always have better graphics than console games, retail Crysis just don't look as good as some bullshots and screenshots from modded versions.

your joking right? posting really makes sarcasm hard to detect plus given the board we are on...In any case UC2 has fights of at best 15 at a time and is as on rails as a game could be short of the Dead Space the Wii edition...

Also the screenshots I've posted aren't modded or bullshots but rather tweaked which are like the graphics setting of a PC game.

Crysis in 6,400 x 4,000 Pixels
We tested the in-game Downsampling on a Samsung Syncmaster 305T Plus which has a native resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. 5,120 x 3,200 pixels forced via the console result in 4x SSAA (2x2 OGSSAA), 6,400 x 4,000 pixels even in 6.25x SSAA (2.5 x 2.5). More is not possible without slowing the game down to slide show speed - even at these settings the framerate reaches single digit values only. This is quite impressive since we are using a SLI setup with two overclocked Geforce GTX 285 with 2 GiByte VRAM each. A single GTX 285 with 1,024 MiByte VRAM crashes immediately if challenged with 6,400 x 4,000 - even without MSAA.

The pictures in our gallery below have been taken at 6,400 x 4,000 (25.6 Mpix). A single bitmap file of this resolution is about 97.6 MiByte big. Since even JPEG files are too big, we have resized the shots to 1,280 x 800 pixels. The result is 5x5 Supersampling. Four screenshots with the original size can be found as a download file at the end of this article.

Super sampling is the best AA method, it's used to produce bullshots :| So screenshot you linked is bullshot in definition.

I play some games with super sampling.. Like Half-Life 2 and Doom 3. I don't think anyone plays Crysis with it though.

But it is in-game. Therefor it is not bullshots as it is part of the actual game and not implemented by external methods.

[QUOTE="GeneralShowzer"][QUOTE="alextherussian"] Crysis looks amazing, and thats ok. That knowledge does not insult the PS3 in anyway. Its really just easier to accept that fact rather then fighting it. KevinButlerVP
PS3 is graphic king, give it up. The power of the Cell is unlimited. That's why Uncharted 2 has this whole world to explore, with hundreds of A.I to fight at a time.

If i fought 100 A.I. at once i would probably die

The point is, the game can't hold more than 20 people on screen, or else it will fall apart. That's why multiplayer in UC2 has significantly lower graphic quality. I am not saying the game is bad, it's probably one of the better this gen, but it really just annoys me when people say that consoles have unlimited potential, when look at the game, the levels are confined as they can get, and they have to even lower the quality to have some fun with multiplayer.

Most bullshots this gen are just super-sampled in-game shots ;)

you are misunderstanding it. Those pics were supersampled in game, not ingame screenshots super sampled through photoshop.

Most bullshots are rendered in super-high resolution in dev-kits and downsampled later. Crysis wasn't playable on those settings so there is practicaly no difference, they did this to obtain SS shots.

Difference is that these ones are done in real-time and by the way just in case you want to know Serious Sam HD First Encounter also has super-sampling in-game.

Yeah, but you can't play the game with 0-9 fps ;)
