Fighting Diablo in Diablo II was pretty epic for me. Mainly because I made the horrible mistake of thinking he'd be kind of a pushover (like the first).

EDIT:  Most epic for me was fighting the Cyberdemon.  That fricking walking sound he made scared the crap out of me...

^ Halo did have a hugely epic thing. Remeber the MAW in Halo 1? driving away in a warthog, that is awesome. - halo 2 not so much. Halo 3 really needs a huge battle and more open environments (like halo 1 had more of)

Street Fighter Alpha 3 against Bison on the hardest difficulty.  The background is pretty epic alone with all the rustling foliage and stormy weather.

BTW Shadow of the Colossus is the featured Wikipedia article :o

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time last battle aganist Ganon (not Ganondorf), Ganondorf appear and transfor on Ganon and OMG!! my Master Sword!! damn u Ganon!! fighting with my Hammer or Goron Sword... haaaaaa!!! best figth EVER!!

Colossus #13 in Shadow of the Colossus.  Completely amazing, especially when you figure out how to get on it.  Very emotional battle too.

something tells me there going to set halo up for a sequel as a new problem will arise.
I really hope they bring back the more diverse levels which judging by the dev. diaries they are. I want another if you dont have a wathog you screwed level (halo, MAW) and a flying oriented wtf level (two betrayals)

Given the context of the story, the world of Suikoden has never seen quite as an insane, terrible, and powerful figure; but...  he was just mortal enough to add interest and an extra "epicness" to the fight.

Three seperate fights.  Four volleys of arrows.  A great duel.  A great curse.

Ah, Orochi, forgot about that one.  Amazing, epic, and very funny battle.  The way you took him down was really humorous.  I TOTALLY thought I had finished the game already...I still haven't beaten it.  Too many good games laying around.  I'll finish it eventually...incredible game either way.
