post ur thoughts in which is the most epic battle in a video game ever
id say zelda WW, last boss
or gears of war, in the kill raam mission
, simple but epic
Kaosed
The last battle in Serious Sam 2 where they just send wave after wave of increasingly stronger guys. Just jumping around and cannonballing them and watching 50 of them fly of in the air was great. May not be the most technically impressive game but dang was it good fun. That or any boss battle in Ninja Gaiden...fighting the 5 mini bosses before fighting the devil was pretty dang sweet!
:shock:SPOILER ALERT:shock:

Final Fantasy X, the final battle, when Tidus finds his father and has to find him... It`s a bit chichè, but, that fight went really impressive, then after the summons you took care of, and to end all, see Tidus disappear... MAN that final was full of epic moments.
No game has ever reach the epic battle waged against two rivialing sides in the never ending war of Pong.LockeAteid
LOL, you made my day.

most of the collosus in shadow of the collosus. the 3rd one and 15th one were probably most epic imo. AsadMahdi59I'm a huge fan of the flying colossus. There's just something about hanging on for dear life while you're traveling through the air. . . And yes. The last colossus is just out of this world.

I posted about FF X:shy:...
but it was nice, because of all the implications it had, and the ending, the final minutes of videos... breathtakers...
Besides stuff already mentioned (see: Shadow of the Colossus), I found the Battle of Endor mission in Rogue Squadron 2 to be really epic. There are hundreds of TIEs and friendly fighters all duking it out at once, and you're in the thick of it. It's great. sonicmj1
[QUOTE="tegovoltio"][QUOTE="general_KDI"]Yup, the boss in MGS3, the big battle in the white flowers, followed by an incredible cinematic...
"There's only room for 1 Boss and 1 Snake." ahhhh....incredible.Rockclmbr6
The Boss.ThulYea, that and the Liquid/Rex fight, with Gray Fox and all, epic. Also Orochi in Okami was epic even if it was nearly at the start.
For its time, FFVI's multi-tiered final confrontation against Kefka with "Dancing Mad" playing in the background was astounding.
