MS confirm no new Xbox at E3

I'm assuming it's because they, like Sony, don't see the Wii U as a threat. If the Wii U is very powerful, Nintendo might just catch Sony and Microsoft without their pants on again. charizard1605

Or, both Sony and Microsoft are waiting to see what Nintendo has under its sleeve. So, they can launch their consoles including all Wii U features improved.

Why bother, xbox sales aren't dropping and the end is not in sight. Suck up as much money as you can then worry about a new box.
Plus outside of the vocal 5-10 percent of gamers, most people are still happy with there console.

I don't understand it no. I have a PC and have seen what they can do these days with games that are optimized for them. The consoles need DX11 support. They need triple core processors. With these innovations, developers would be able to bring us one step closer to photo realism in games.

im glad that they aren't announcing a new console...i don't think we are done with this cycle by a longshot.

This is a mistake in my opinion. They really should not give Nintendo a year head start at the least. Plenty of time for Nintendo to milk Mario and Zelda and get the drones whacking their pud to Nintendo again. I was hoping Sony and Microsoft would just kill them off for good. Oh well. Here is to 50 more Mario games in the next 5 years.

Sony and Microsoft are going to show their next gen consoles at E3 2013, Next Xbox is going to launch Christmas season 2013 or early 2014 and the PS4 Summer 2014. I saw it in my Crystal ball. By that time the WiiU is going to have ~20 millions unit sales.

Looks that way. Any other meaning would simply be a lie...

FYI, The PS3 and Xbox 360 are still selling very well so it doesn't make sense for either company to release a new system this year or next.

I believe that some developers are already making games for the next console generation... so they may not show it off at E3, but instead at another conference. I still think it will be our by xmas 2013.
