eh looks to me like sony spudged their numbers since it has nothing to do with profits and possible income they aren't held to laws such as telling their shareholders the turth...but frankly whats funny is that you think that remained that way...Considering at the end of halo 2's life it had beat the numbers in that article 10 times over.... But please keep acting like a point in time is constant and those numbers didn't change.WilliamRLBakerAt the end on Halo 2 life ok. Those numbers did change but it wasn't because live was more used than online play on PS2,but because Halo 2 had a much bigger user base than games like Socom 2,Socom 2 sold like 2 millions copies and Halo 2 like 8 or 9 millions. His point was that MS made online popular which is not true period, there were popular shooter not only on PC before the xbox was even born, but also on PS2 as well,in fact Socom 2 numbers alone proved how much more popular it was than live,Halo only helped live around its user base the res of the games were dead. In fact games like Rainbow Six were the top dogs on xbox before Halo and logged 6,000 + at any given time, even socom 1 logged more than 14,000,socom 2 more than 22,000 at any given time, mind you that while socon 2 was way more popular than socom 1,many people still played socom 1 after socom 2 was out, just like it happen today with COD games,so socom 2 alone beating in playing hours all of XBL games and by a great margin say it all. In fact by the time that link was posted XBL logged 200,000 + hours across all games world wide, and Socom 2 alone logged more than 300,000,that doesn't count,Socom 1,tribes,EA sport games that where online on PS2 and several other games.
