I don't think microsoft will release the 362 or whatever until 2012... they just have no reason to.

[QUOTE="Darth_Doggy"]I think copy and paste is already registered by Microsoft seeing that Sony was in the market way before them and they've compied many of Sony's ideas including vibrating controllers and much, much more!MrSlippery39

The N64 was the first to make their controllers rumble.

Sorry slipper didn't know that. PS1 was my first console lol. But I still feel microsoft has copied many things sony and nintendo have done and tried to act like they came up with the idea.

MS has no reason to drop the 360, and considering Sony are going to try to milk the PS3 recoup their massive losses, i think that neither have a reason to call it qiutes early.

MS have a brand name thats being built, and with it steady hardware and strong yet growing software sales. PSone was a success because Sony did everything right, they stabbed Nintendo when they needed to, their low cost hardware yet forward thinking also attracted developers, and even though N64 was initially more succesful, Sony made the most of what they had, and that was enough for the devs to jump in, and predictably, the consumers. MS are doing something along the lines of this, they are playing it almost hit-n-run, hardware sales have been okay this year, but for the holiday, they are going to go all out and secure 2 million or so units.

So simply said, MSs goal was to stop Sony, and they did, by launching early and taking away developers and gamers alike, theyve made sure that Sony doesnt get all the HD attention. On top of that, the waning interest in hardcore gaming has not only hurt Sony but MS too, that however hasnt stopped them from still doing the best with what they have
