you can download games on the Virtual Console that are not found on the Other Systems.

heck Earthworm Jim was downloadable for the Wii well before the PS3, 360, iPod or DSi had them and the Wii is the only system to offer Earthworm Jim 2 for that matter.

Nintendo deserves to win by virtue of being the only one that didn't fail from a business perspective. Sony and MS dun goof'd.

The Wii will be fine. New kids are being born every day and adults retire and become elderly every day as well. It's an endless market.

The reason why I applied quotes to the term "deserve" is because the term doesn't come into play when were talking about sales. More people bought the Wii than the PS3 or 360 whether you like it or not. No console is less deserving than the other, because there's going to be people that will buy it. If the console sucks or is marketed poorly, then people won't buy them. Otherwise they will. It's that simple.

ehhh I don't base a system library based on retro downloables games or b/c compability. they had their chance, and made the system those were released on great ones. besides 360 and ps3 have lots of thos dl titles, retro dl titles, b/cGiancar

why should you not include them? Most of the Retro Titles that the Wii offers haven't been on the Market for Years.

and you may or not find them on the other systems.

nintendo needed to release NSMBWii 2, Wii Sports 3 and Wii Fit 3

instead they are releasing Metroid Other M, Mario galaxy 2, Kirby Epic Yarn and Donkey Kong Country Returns

I guess hearing the fans was the reason of nintendos decline (btw. its not even half a year and we are already hearing doom and gloom for wii. when PS3 and 360 got constantly outsold we never heard anything about the floppage of those systems. funny huh ?)

Who the heck ever gave a damn about what the media thinks? Gamers play games. I'm not arguing that the PS3 and 360 doesn't have more great games overall, they do, but to say the system doesn't have a great library of games and doesn't deserve to be number one because of your personal opinions is a very fanboyish way of looking at things.

Although there is very little to say about this before the Winter Rush, this is about the time that a console loses it's popularity. Although I do doubt the motion controls for the 360 and PS3 will be a big enough factor to keep them from having the same fate. The PS3 is also going down in sales, the 360 just got Halo Reach this month.Willy105

I do think it's natural that the longer a system lingers at a certain price point, the lower hardware sales will be. The PS3 still sells at a very high price point ($299), so one would assume Sony has a lot of room in terms of potential price cuts until this generation is over to raise hardware sales. By this point in the PS2's life, it had reached a much more mass-market friendly $149 price point.
