does anyone think the guy reviewing bad company 2 on ign was a retard Seemed very bias comparing bc2 to mw2, even though mw2 did not have any of the things he criticized bad company 2 for not having. In fact he opens up with the line that he hated bad company 1, there goes the SP score for bad company 2 since its a sequel and directly follows the characters from the first game.

The review was TERRIBLE. They marked it down for saying the story was to intense:? And saying it did not have enough slow spots:? WTF:? So i was scratching my head saying wait they gave MW2 a 9.5 and that did not even have a story:shock: So yeah clearly IGN bought into the hype of MW2 at release and the reviewer who did the BC 2 review from IGN is clearly a heartbeat sensor doushe bag MW2 fanboy:lol:

Ummm... maybe I missed it but where exactly did they say the story was "too intense" exactly? Yes, they said there wasnt enough slow spots. Look at MW2's campaign. You go quickly from silenced sniper rifles quietly taking down enemies, to controlling a gunship, to racing snowmobiles, to crouching in the dark watching the shadow company laser pointers and quietly taking them out, etc etc. In BFBC2, it appears that there is nonstop action, all the time. Without any moments of stealth, or "slow moments", while there is variety, its really all of the same kind. thats a large reason it couldnt match MW2. MW2 offers Spec Ops, something that really sets it apart from other FPS's of the genre. BFBC2 simply doesnt have a SPec Ops counterpart, for more SP your forced to replay the story missions, and replaying the campaign at a scored (1, 2, 3 stars) and better pace is only like 1/2 of spec ops. And at least according to IGN, they didnt do the epic sense of a massive battle as well as MW2 (which the campaign does quite well). So yea. Those aren't valid points for why BFBC2 got a worse score than MW2?

i never said i loved all the battlefield games and all of a suddent hate bc2. i didnt like modern combat for obvious reasons. the first bad company sucked as well i wasnt too big a fan of 2142 when it first came out either. i also never decryed being a fan i said i wasnt a fanboy. im not gonna blindly follow a series and buy whatever the **** comes out. bad company 1 was terrible so im gonna call it out on being **** maybe when a real battlefield comes out thats pc exclusive id be excited for the series again. (not hating on consoles considering im a huge console gamer as well but the battlefield series isnt meant for consoles)
