MW2 second DLC annouced for June 3rd..$15 yet again

Activision, didnt they jhust release the new DLC already? well they have just annouced the number 2 DLC coming June 3rd for $15 with 5 new maps more..and if your wondering..the same crap that happened with the first DLC will happen again with the second DLC which is to start first on xbox360.

While I'm sure millions will buy this DLC just like they did the Stimulus Pack, I'll be passing on this just like I did the first.

$30 for two packs of DLC for one game...Yikes.

I think I'm pretty much done with this game. Haven't really played at all in the past month. Payed for the first DLC, definitely not paying for the second.

Same here, i bought the first one but i doubt if i'll get this second one, $15 is indeed too much, there are some very good PSN games that are les than that and more fun than just getting a DLC

Why do people even argue this now, its 15 dollars, yes its expensive. That's not stopping people from buying, sales > topic, sales win. And you buying the first just proves it even more. its not going to change.

Nope, just online maps.. not even new trophies..at least World at War added trophies with every DLC..IW did mention ones that DLC number 4 might start getting new Spec ops missions

Basically this is what I've always hated about DLCs now after purchasing the game + the 2 DLCS people will have spent $90 on one game...gets excessive. I've always favored a system(not that this would ever happen but) where if you buy the first DLC for the game within the first month of its release and for full price, then later you can get the rest of the DLCs for very very cheap (i.e 320 MS points) or for free.

Well, as long as people find value at the price it's gonna sell. So what can you do but ignore it if you don't want it I guess.

So those who buy this will have just spent $30 on top of $60. In other words they just bought the worlds worst expansion pack.

It used to bother me that they are charging $15, but I realized I will never pay that much for maps so now I can just laugh at people on my friends list who buy that. What bothers me the most, I have some ppl on my list with comments like "**** MW2!!!!!" or "$15? Seriously!?" yet they bought the maps anyway and play MW2 every day of the week. Maybe Activision has learned how big of tools some gamers are. I wouldn't be surprised if they charged $20 for 6 maps or something. I really doubt they would see any difference in sales

Well, usually is 2 or 3 maps for $10 dollars, so $15 for 5 maps seems to be the general conversion for what you're getting. Not saying that it's a good deal...I never buy ripoff content, but they're not charging you any more than other DLC maps.killab2oo5

Two of hte 5 maps are old ones again.

Afterall, this game is created for people who don't like their FPS games to take skill. Oh wait, nevermind, that's every FPS nowadays. Well it seems like Activision proved that people will continue to buy DLC no matter how overpriced it is.

It's all about network effects.

People will buy the DLC if they think that their friends are buying the DLC also.

But, eventually, people will stop buying DLC.
