[QUOTE="sebs09"][QUOTE="sonicare"]What is the wrapping it in towels trick? Never heard of that one.Timstuff
You wrap it in a couple of towels while it's still on. Keep it wrapped for about 45 minutes, then take the towels off, turn the 360 off and let it cool for a bit. Turn it on about 20 minutes later, and it worked again for me.
From what I understand, the way this works is as follows: the 360 breaks when it gets too hot and the motherboard warps from the heat, so when you wrap it in towels you're intentionally making it so hot that you will hopefully melt it back into it's original shape. I guess some people have had success with this, but it sounds like very scary business to me.
My personal opinion: just get a system that doesn't overheat in the first place. :P
From what I understand it's the crappy thermal paste :@ and the tomel trick doesn't work forever, you are just damaging more your 360, if the problem is 0102 is very possible for you to fix it, it's not high cience nor complicated stuff either.
